I plan on hoarding a bunch of Furret and naming them all after my 5 ferrets. It's always been one of the cutest Pokemon to me.

Gen 2 has my favorite Pokemon (Ampharos), starter (Cyndaquil) and legendary (Lugia) so I'm obviously kinda biased in my excitement. But I hope that I'm able to finish the dex for Gen 1 as well.

Awesome! I'm collecting every Sentret I see (or at least I was -- currently I'm out of normal Pokeballs and I'm trying to save my Great and Ultras) so that I can get Furrets. I asked my sister what an Ampharos is and I think I remember that one; I've always liked Mareep, which I think evolves into Ampharos. I want to catch a Cyndaquil, too! Fire types are usually rare around here, so we'll see. I saw the shadow of a Totodile and we caught a Chikorita last night

Lately I've been like a kid at a candy store. I opened my game around 6ish yesterday and nearly squealed with delight to see a random green Pokémon I'd never seen before. It was a Natu, which is new to me and adorable. A little down the street the game said there was a Ninetales; I traveled there and it was a Vulpix (game was quite glitchy yesterday, as I think you guys have experienced), which was fine, and got a Sunkern (I think), which was so cute, too! So I've been enjoying catching new cute things I've never heard of. I was also happy that the game revived my Pokémon from my recent battle. And the new outfits are decently fun; too bad a lot of them cost money. My sister and I want to see a barefoot trainer with a top hat and 3D glasses. We both kind of want the random mask. And my sister's just glad her avatar no longer looks almost exactly like mine.

What has been a little weird has been the gender changes. I'm probably the only one who cares, but I had named some of my favorite Pokémon with boy or girl names and now some of them are the opposite gender  Most of my Vaporeons, Eevees, and Dratini had female names and only a handful are actually girls; Shizue, my top Vaporeon, is a girl, though. Strangely, my Charizard is a girl, the only female of that evolutionary line that I have. I had to change some names last night. And obviously there aren't a whole lot of visual differences between male and female Pokémon, but I thought it was cute to see my female Pikachu:

I went out last night and caught 31 new pokemon, and I was a little sad to see that I was the only one! My town is small, but gen 1 the park was overflowing with people, and this release I didn't see a soul.

My first catch was Hoothoot... which turned out to be a Ditto haha (what a hoot...oh yes I punned...)
I've caught Marill, Wooper, Chinchou, Natu, Spinarak, Ledyba and a ton of Sentrets! I've seen a Misdreavus nearby, so I hope that it will be there tomorrow as well

My Furret collection is going along nicely. I'm up to three, and they've been male, female, male, which is the same order that I got my three deceased ferrets in. So they've been named after them. Now I just need a male and a female to name after current two ferrets.

I went outside last night after getting home because a female Wobbuffet popped up on my radar. I had a male one already, but that lipstick on the female cracks me up so I had to get it too.

I've caught so many Murkrow that I have a super duper head start in getting a Honchkrow lol (Gen 4, for those of you that don't know).

I also evolved a Swinub last night because my house is a nest for them.

I'm going out with some friends today because the two across the river has a TON of Pokestops in their park. I hope I find something good!

Apparently Togetic had a 1% catch rate, no matter which balls and berries were used...but I caught both of the ones I saw on Saturday and pretty easily too. They raised the catch rate up to 5% yesterday, according to Reddit. I feel kinda lucky.

I was a little sad yesterday, though. Went to the park with my friends and I'm the only one who didn't get an evolutionary item from a stop.

I was actually just going to come here and post that I got a Metal Coat after my 7th day in a row spin yesterday. I'm not sure if it was the same for my two friends, but my husband got a Kings Rock after his 7th day spin. So I guess there's something to that.
