Off Topic / Spray on Nail Polish in the UK
« on: November 12, 2015, 01:09:52 PM »
For those of you living in the UK, have any of you heard about or maybe seen this new spray on nail polish? Right now it's only available in the UK and won't make it to the US till Spring 2016. It's from a UK-based beauty brand called Nails Inc. It looks really interesting and sounds like it works. There are only 2 colors right now but they're working on more.

http://www.today.com/style/manicures-home-spray-nail-polish-changing-game-t54876

I always, ALWAYS have my nails done and painted. This new spray on nail polish sounds like a must have for me. I'm horrible at painting my own nails so I go to a nail salon once or twice a month and spend around $30-$60. If anyone in the UK had access to buying it, I would totally be interested in making a deal with you.  Not sure I can handle waiting till the Spring, lol.

Off Topic / Vote for my t-shirt design!
« on: August 03, 2015, 06:20:09 AM »
Hey guys, I have a big favor to ask you all! Luckily for you, all you have to do is just simply “Like” a pic for me on Facebook.

If you have a Facebook account could you please take a minute to search for ‘The Animal Care Society’ and like the pic below? I have entered a design for a t-shirt contest they’re doing for an event they have planned. I believe the deadline to vote is August 5th. I would love to win, and as a Graphic Designer, it would be a proud moment to have my design featured on a t-shirt.

Here's a quick link to their page:

And a quick link to my pic for you to vote:

Arts & Crafts Corral / 1st Time Coloring Lineart
« on: July 10, 2015, 10:58:12 AM »
It's a pretty slow day at work and I don't have much going on, so I decided to try coloring in some lineart just for fun. I used Corel Photo Paint X6. Holy wow, I definitely need some practicing.

I'm aware of the large empty space around her. I didn't bother to crop her before saving lol. I even forgot the color in her eye, oops, lol. I used the magic wand mask tool to add the color. Is that correct? It wasn't the easiest thing to work with. And my pony's hair is...weird looking and not all totally filled in.  :P

This is my OC. Symbol/cutie mark credit goes to Daring Symphony here on the Arena.

Pony Corral / 2007 MLP Fair Exclusive Way Overpriced
« on: May 22, 2015, 12:56:32 PM »
So normally I see the 2007 MLP Fair Exclusive Pinkie Pie for around $40-$50 on eBay. I won an auction earlier this week at $18 for one completely mint and sealed in the plastic bag!  :thumb:

I feel like I got a fantastic deal, since like I said, she usually goes for $40-$50 MIB on eBay. However, I also came across one being sold for $428.50.

:what:

What in the world is the seller thinking? I can't be the only one who thinks that's WAY, WAY, WAY overpriced, right?

Btw, can't remember who the eBay seller is, but if it's someone on the Arena and they see this, I apologize if I seem rude or harsh. I'm just shocked at the cost.

Pony Corral / Need help naming my OC
« on: May 21, 2015, 06:53:28 AM »
Wasn't sure if I should put this here or in the Off Topic section. It can be moved if needed.

Daring Symphony made me this beautiful reference pic for my OC. I’m stuck on what her name should be though. Any suggestions would be great! ^.^

I received an email about the game where we guess which baby pic is of which mod. It looks like fun! However, the images don't show up for me. I've tried using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Anybody else having trouble seeing the pics?

Off Topic / Shopping at Goodwill
« on: January 28, 2015, 01:13:35 PM »
I think i'm gonna stop by a Goodwill after work. Hopefully I'll find some ponies. Wish me luck!  :thumb: If I happen to see any of the 90's Littlest Pet Shop or the Polly Pockets I will for sure have to get them since they were big childhood toys.

How often do you all shop at Goodwill (if you have one)? And what types of 80's/90's vintage toys do you usually find there?
