Hey guys
So I found this little lady over the weekend at a carboot but im a little confused about her!

I presume she is a bluebelle variant but other than that I'm stumped!
She appears to be very stained but when i parted her neck seam she actually appears to have genuinely been yellow inside??

Also there are no markings on her hooves whatsoever.

Any ideas who she is and what she is meant to look like?
Also if it is staining can i do anything to remove it?
Thanks!

I know nothing about Nirvanas, but I got very curious with this one and looked on My Little Wiki. The only Blue Belle variants that I see listed with no hoof markings are some of the Mexican variants. So I'm wondering if she's a badly stained Mexican Blue Belle.
But I'd be interested to see what collectors who are knowledgeable about Nirvanas have to say.

She looks Greek. :)
-
wow, she's super cool! i don't think she's Mexican because her symbols look like Greek Bluebelle's symbols. to me it looks like she's either very very badly stained or a variant. nice find

I think she is a Greek Bluebelle who has been badly sunburned or been smoke damaged, poor pony!
-
I've never seen her before! Love her colors. That's quite a find. Hope someone can help you ID her soon.
-
I'm bumping this over to Nirvana :)
-
They eyes, lack of any hoof mark and hair line suggest to me that she is Greek :)
She looks to be dreadful discoloured though :(
Greeks don't have glued necks, so you should be able to pop her head off with no worries about breaking any kind of seal.

I know she's badly sunburnt but I kind of like the brown color. She's like Jenny's long lost sister or something.
-
Does she smell of smoke? I have had a few discoloured greeks arrive the most poorly stained where all from smoke damage. I sun faded them all and they are no so much better. I find it strange she would sunburn i have never had this trouble with a greek, i have sunfaded cp greeks and babies before as well as a rainbow one
-
Thanks for the advice guys :) so how would I go about sun fading her?
-
However long you want. Some took about 1 month every day in the peak of summer (eyes, hair and symbols where covered for the most part. I would recommwnd popping her in the sun (non mane side) for a few days, if she will lighten you will see a different straight away between the side :)

Thanks everyone! I will post after pics :)
-
She is a lovely find, well done! Looking forward to seeing the after pics - I absolutely adore before and after pics :)

Congrats, what a find! You have to wonder about Nirvana ponies when you find them outside of their countries....
-
unless she's been dyed ( i have an argentinian bluebelle similar coloring) hopefully she takes well to sunfading; cool "macau-like" greek if not
yeah, gonna chime in with she definitely looks greek to me :-)
-
Agree she looks to be a stained greek.
Maybe someone intentionally tried to stain/dye her which explains why she looks yellowish inside?
Also, it could just be that there was a weird vinyl reaction at some point turning everthing yellow (maybe she was stored in a hot place?)

Well I'm hoping ive done this right but here she is all ready waiting for the british summer to arrive :)

Oooh looking forward to seeing how this progresses! How exciting + good luck! :thumb:

You might be waiting a while, lol!
I agree that she looks Greek with the hair, eyes and hooves. Nice find, even if she has changed colour! :)
-
You can sunfade in the winter, it just takes a lot longer

She looks so trusting and patient in her blindfold with her little I'm-in-good-hands smile.
Absolutely gorgeous and unique!

Great find! I hope she sunfades for you. Don't be surprised if it takes months. I'm in Canada and have less sum, just like you and my sunfading usually takes months of sitting in a window and rotating every few days.
-
had a little look today and she seems to be going back to the soft yellow colour which is at the bottom of her hooves :)
-
Oh boy! That is great news!
