No idea :/ The one in my town closed a while back and it never was that very big. To get to TRU now means three buses - one to my local town (7 miles, hourly), one to a neigbouring town (12 miles, hourly) and one to TRU (15 mins)...or a train, which requires a bus to the station...and ...yeah, you get the picture xD.

I suspect that the answer is probably no, but who knows.

I rarely go either as I tend to always be disappointed when I do. If they have anything I want, it's invariably overpriced, or they have nothing of interest :( They were the only store to get DD FS but I wasn't paying nearly £20 for a plastic pony when Argos had them for £7.

Agreed, though I got Zecora on clearance by accident when in Lincoln. I emailed tru UK to ask them. They said their average response time was 14 hours. Three days later and so far no response so either I have confused them or they are walking to America to check for themselves.

Looks like it was some sort of test for her eventual outfit to me

Speaking of prototypes, there's a seller who seems to be selling all sorts of freaky deaky mixed up head and body EQGs, I've eventually caved as some of the clothes they're wearing are prototype ones so fingers crossed I get freaky deaky girls!

Carrie

Does the seller have anything that hints towards a future release. I'm still wondering if Target is going to have any doll exclusives or if TRU is getting a new 3 pack.

No, they mostly seem to be mashups of later line RR dolls and new School spirit ones. But the clothes on some of the dolls are clear prototypes which is why I'm interested.

And Chrysalis is finally on sale at ToysRus! ($15.99 instead of $19) http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=57532836&cp=2255956.3209580.23682276.23414676&parentPage=family

I bought Chrysalis yesterday (my first -and likely only- EqG doll!!!) and I really like her, just wish she was more articulated.  She looks gorgeous on display, though.

Also had no idea she was on sale until I got there.  What a nice surprise!

TRU UK were wholly unhelpful - they apparently don't know if Chrysalis is coming out here or when it might appear.

Nice to know they're interested in their store exclusive line  The North American branch is great, can we just have them and ditch UK TRU?

Based on this experience I tend to agree. I sent them the enquiry back when I posted here about it...

And I got no reply.

And then I got a customer survey email asking how they did in answering my enquiry.

So I pointed out that they hadn't replied to it yet.

They said they couldn't find the original enquiry, but they obviously knew they had it cos of the survey. They asked me to repeat the question, which I did, and the reply was as follows:

I have advised our buying department of your interest in this product, however I apologise that we are unable to advise when this may become available to purchase.

As soon as this item is available to order our website will be updated.

So yep. That was a complete waste of time. Now I'm debating whether to wait or whether to import one with the horrible added shipping cost >< Decisions...

This is just silly  -_- I'm not importing any more ponies. I'm sick of having to pay more because UK toy shops suck.

Agreed. Our distribution just gets worse and worse if you ask me. It was pretty awful in G3 which was a main reason I gave up collecting them. I try to only pick up g4 ponies I like, and only for retail but sometimes those like ponies don't come out here, so I have to let them pass me by...

You'd think Hasbro would get it sorted, but apparently we're not a big enough market for them to do that ><

Ugh, TRU can be really terrible about things like this. :( Thanks for posting that, Taffeta.

I just went ahead and ordered Maud and Chryssie online a while ago - won't get them for a while but it's better than waiting ages for potentially nothing, y'know? If that makes sense.

I totes just bought the car on Target's website. I have really no need for it, but I can't pass up a deal like that! First $20 for the school and now $4 for a car. I'll take these deals!

I hope they make the CMC Equestria Girls again. I missed out the first time they were available, plus I wasn't crazy about the Wild Rainbow theme.
