Hmm, I'm not sure who my very first Pony was, I know it was from the second generation and one of the few released here, I think it was Sky Skimmer. I know I actually managed to get most of the G2 Ponies that came out here, several months ago I decided to complete my collection of G2 Ponies from the first two years and there weren't that many I didn't have, the only one I'm missing now is Dainty Dove and her playset (Now I just need to dig up my old ones) But I admit, when I was a child I never realised that you were supposed to put the flowers in the comb and use the button to attach them into the Pony's hair (perhaps because I only really used the brush to untangle their hair)
Then the first G1 Pony I ever bought was Baby Sweet Stuff (who I used to call "Dolly") I found her in the used toys section of a comic book store when I was about 10 years old. I remember that my baby sitter would always let me play with her old Ponies when I stayed at her house, which made me decide that mine were space Ponies that lived on the moon (They were tall and thin because the moon has lower gravity which made them grow faster because they didn't have to fight gravity as much as the ones on Earth....If there was any doubt that I watched a lot of Magic School Bus)
Then the first ones from my G4 collection were Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy & Applejack; I ended up becoming interested in the series fairly early on so I got to enjoy all of those sales Toys R Us had where they were trying to get rid of all their old G3.5 merchandise and ended up having to put everything on sale. And my current G1 collection started with Morning Glory
