Pony Corral / Re: First ever Pony?

Hmm, I'm not sure who my very first Pony was, I know it was from the second generation and one of the few released here, I think it was Sky Skimmer. I know I actually managed to get most of the G2 Ponies that came out here, several months ago I decided to complete my collection of G2 Ponies from the first two years and there weren't that many I didn't have, the only one I'm missing now is Dainty Dove and her playset (Now I just need to dig up my old ones) But I admit, when I was a child I never realised that you were supposed to put the flowers in the comb and use the button to attach them into the Pony's hair (perhaps because I only really used the brush to untangle their hair)

Then the first G1 Pony I ever bought was Baby Sweet Stuff (who I used to call "Dolly") I found her in the used toys section of a comic book store when I was about 10 years old. I remember that my baby sitter would always let me play with her old Ponies when I stayed at her house, which made me decide that mine were space Ponies that lived on the moon (They were tall and thin because the moon has lower gravity which made them grow faster because they didn't have to fight gravity as much as the ones on Earth....If there was any doubt that I watched a lot of Magic School Bus)

Then the first ones from my G4 collection were Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy & Applejack; I ended up becoming interested in the series fairly early on so I got to enjoy all of those sales Toys R Us had where they were trying to get rid of all their old G3.5 merchandise and ended up having to put everything on sale. And my current G1 collection started with Morning Glory

Arts & Crafts Corral / In urgent need of funds, opening commissions
« on: May 09, 2013, 11:07:09 PM »
I hope it's alright for me to be posting this without having a regular art topic

Basically I've had to raise over $200 to pay to go to a convention at the end of the month and a play I'm going to around the 20th, with my Mother pushing me to try selling some of my collections, refusing to allow me to use more than a small amount of money from my bank account because it's connected to her line of credit and I need to ensure I have a certain minimum balance so she doesn't like me spending too much until I start my next job. Furthermore she won't take me to the play if I don't raise all the money in time and will only take me to the convention on the condition that I pay twice the difference afterwards. I've managed to put most of it together but I still need about $100 so I'm hoping to make it the rest of the way by opening commissions.

So I'm planning on doing about 4 commissioned works for $25-$30 each, I did work illustrating a children's page for a website last summer and what I'm charging for the entire picture is what I was paid for just a few hours of work and those images were much more simple than the image you will receive, here are some examples of the work you could expect:

My Deviant art gallery as a whole:

As you see I'm most accustomed to the G4 Pony style though I will do my best to draw in whichever generation style you ask for. Thank You

Pony Corral / Re: More Build A Bear ponies.

They might include Fluttershy in the second batch any way, Spike looks a bit smaller so they could be releasing him as a Small Fry doll (the poll they had to decide the next character said that they were planning to release the Cutie Mark Crusaders that way)

But I still need to get Rainbow Dash, both of the shopping malls that have build a bear here were sold out of her

I can confirm HKNPP Glow and CNPP Lady Flutter, I'll have to check the others later since half of my Summer Wing Ponies are in my basement

Introductions / Hello Everypony!

I'm Motion Paradox (from Motion Paralax, a type of depth cue and my paradoxical personality) I'm currently a student and eventually want to produce and direct animation

I've been a fan of My Little Pony since the second generation came out when I was about 6 and got back into it with Friendship is Magic almost two years ago. I was also introduced to  the first generation by my babysitter when I was a child and have started collecting older Ponies along with the new ones over the past year and collecting the trading cards

Either way it's wonderful to meet all of you
