How to clean a rusty pony?
« on: May 11, 2016, 10:16:21 AM »
I recently bought a pony off of ebay. I thought she was a good deal but apparently "a few scuffs" really means filled with so much rust it was pouring out of her neck hole, and a haircut. sigh...

Anyway I changed out her rusty washer, and managed to clean her out pretty well with cotton swabs, but try as a might, there are just some spots i can't get to.

How do you clean out a rusty pony? Are there any special tools or cleaners you use to get into those small spaces? And if I cant get all the rust inside, does that mean it will come back? even with the washer replaced with plastic?

thanks!

You can find bottle brushes at your local wallmart, or anywhere that carries baby items.

yeah it does if you boil it with a pony but not so softs , glittery symbols or twinkle eyes it can make damage on them. Also ponies with chartreuse hair the bright yellow can turn ponies a different color while boiling them.  :/ some use oxy-clean as a spray on oxy clean bottle I think with so softs.
