US Starlight Glimmer!??!

Subject: daddy- buy me a pony, please!

Just heard that these ponies have finally been spotted in the US at the HEB! Next time you're there, could you take a look for me, please?

I think I may be off work this afternoon. I'll know in about 45 min. If I'm off I'm going directly to every HEB in a 50 mile radius.

I did get my Starlight Glimmer with her headband though! She was in the mail today and she's so cute, even if I don't quite like her character in the show. I'm wondering if, since I ordered her from someone in California, she's showing up in places other than TX?

I tried south of Dallas yesterday, no luck at that HEB or I just missed her! I looked hard for her though! I tried Tom Thumb, Walgreens, Kroger, all those wired places that sell ponies and no luck! I even tried Toys R US and this weird toy store in the mall that sells things over-priced with this creepy old lady that works there who tries to talk to you as you walk by the store.... nadda. I ordered some more brushables at work..... I bet when they arrive they are going to be either wave 1 ribbon ponies or more CMM ponies.

HEB is a grocery store chain in Texas. The company also has a chain called Central Market that has more imported foods and foods for the pretentious shopper, that they put in the higher-income areas. lol.

I love them because they sell Whataburger ketchup in bottles there

I'm not going to be that happy if she is an exclusive. If that is the case then that would probably tell me they didn't have much product shipped to the US...

It's a shame she is not listed online on the HEB Website.. Or else I would just go an order her.. And Hasbro Toy Shop doesn't have her either...

Because the shelves are clogged up with Mane 6. It's not Hasbro that is skipping them it's the stores.

That makes sense, but the US missed Holly Dash and it looks like Starlight Glimmer is going to be really hard to find in the US.

Maybe if Hasbro made less of the main 6 then product would move faster...

I think if there aren't enough orders from US stores then they don't bother having any shipped to the US at all. Usually toys are not mass produced until they have orders. If there are enough orders from outside the US they will produce enough for that market. If they don't even have enough outside the US then that particular wave might not even get produced.

Possible good news. Walmart had their reset paper up and it shows they are going to have the Explore Equestria brushables with the bows. At least the area said "equestria pony" and the item number matched up with the first wave of the bow brushables.

Bad news is I think the second wave of ribbon ponies was skipped by US retailers.

If Hasbro would stop putting new characters in the second wave, sales would pick up for stores. People aren't going to keep buying the same 6 ponies over and over b
