Inspired by the other thread going on, and those of years past, where is the strangest place you've found a pony in the wild?
Mine would have to be when I was in middle school. It would have been around the start of FIM, and my math teacher had a G1 parasol plush on his filing cabinet. Mind you, it had a haircut, a spiked dog collar, and numerous stains, but it was legit. Turns out some students threw it on top of the portables and he rescued it.
Anyone else?

I hope Glownshowpony sees this thread, because she customized a Dream Castle into the most lovely celestial palace.
There was also a listing on Etsy for the longest time for a Pretty Parlor that had been customized into a candy shoppe and came with a custom of the shop's proprietor. I can't find the listing right now, it might have expired/been bought or the shop may have closed. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

So I know fading pink is a huge issue for G1 ponies, but what about G3? Is there a list anywhere of the ones that have it?
My guesses:
- Minty
- Cotton Candy (stripes)
- Cherry Blossom
- Aurora Mist

I know in my Target a few weeks ago they were clearancing out all the 5 in Funrise plushies because they were getting prepared to ship them out to discount stores. Because of this, I got the Easter release of Pinkie Pie and Cheerilee for $1.06 each. Maybe they'll start showing up at Dollar Tree and similar places? Or at least the older releases.

They're finally putting Pinkie Pie's Stage on clearance at K-Mart. It's $33 (what a great sale) but with the 40% this week it's about $19.80 without tax. I'm very tempted  EDIT: Just found Adagio at Marshall's for $10.99!! Maybe she's showing up at the discount retailers?

I've had this My Little Pony ornament forever. Got it for Christmas when I was a kid. Every time I look for information on it though, I can't find any  I know it's Kimono, but that's about it. Does any one else have any ideas? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAlso, since I love them so much, if any had any ornament photos of their own to share, I would love to see them

So many ways.
First there's spreadsheets, divided by generation and type of merchandise (brushables, playsets, etc.) with information on name, condition, flaws, year, release, value, where it was bought, and how much I paid.
Basic checklists for each generation.
Finally, I have a website where I take pics of all my ponies after their spa day, and throw it up with a short backstory, value, and origin. That's also divided by generation/years.
I'm kind of analysis about keeping track of my toys. I do the same for dolls.
