I figured it would be a good idea to start this (and checked with Jupi to make sure). So post all your "Ever After High" updates, thoughts, questions and discussions here!

So, are you excited for EAH?

Will you be collecting EAH for sure or are you a "wait and see" type?

What are some of the characters you think Mattel will do first?

If they are BJDs then I most certainly will. I'm hoping they use the same body mold as MH dolls, so I can swap clothes and shoes between dolls. I'm also hoping since Cupid is joining the line, they will draw inspirations from stories and myths from all different cultures, and not just generic Grimm's fairy tales.

I'm loving the idea of EAH but I will wait and see what the dolls look like before I decide whether or not I will be collecting them

So excited I am just a big ball of squee over EAH I'll be collecting for sure, whatever the dolls look like I am just that pathetic a fairytale geek. Well, unless they're super cheapo fakie types, but I doubt Mattel will do that

I think we'll see the most well-known fairytale heroines first. From the clues we've gotten so far I'm expecting Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, plus probably Alice in Wonderland? (or their children, as seems quite possible)

If they're normal colored monster high type dolls, I'll probably get them as custom fodder and perhaps a few of the favorites to collect if I like the look of them but wih cupid joining the line, i'm pretty sure they'll be monster shaped

As if MH couldn't POSSIBLY interest me MORE, they go and release a FAIRYTALE series ;3; <3 !

I admit I'm super excited for them. I imagine they will be the same dolls - if they are reusing Cupid etc, its likely. I hope hope they do some wicked stuff with the designs. I'm excited for the Chesire Cat and the Wicked Queen inspired dolls in particular! <3

I won't collect them all, but I will definitely be adding some to my small group. For sure~ <3

I am dying to see what they look like! I will definitely be collecting the Alice and Sleeping Beauty related ones as they are my two favorite stories! Unless they turn out to be really ugly.

I am really excited for this new line and I can say with almost certainty that I will be collecting them  also I'm excited because this is the first time I will be collecting something from the beginning as in their initial release.

Do we know when they will be released, I can't remember if this has been announced or not? And do you think we'll see the first prototypes at SDCC?

III am skeptical, and wouldn't mind if they reshaped the gal's bodies a bit, but keep the clothes more or less swappable. And am also with Shivvy- if they're poseable like MH I will probably be all over them. I know the stiff limbs is the main thing holding me back from Novi Stars, which are otherwise super cute.

I am the wait and see- type. I don't really want to say yay or nay before I see the actual dolls. I am very curious about this line. If it's anything like MH designwise then I might get some of them. I'll only get the ones I like though, I am npot a completist.

    The rumors are true! Cupid is off on a fangtastic adventure at a new school. We’re totes sad we won’t see her in class, but everyone’s way excited about the journey she’s taking. She couldn’t give us too many deets, but she did say something about a ‘Village of Book End’ where a lot of change is happening and where her freaky-fab advice will be put to good use! Don’t fret, ghoul. Something tells me you’ll be seeing more of her soon!
