I've already decided to just stop buying plush toys at all - seems easier, since they're a potential playland for all kinds of nasties. That works out best for me, too, since I don't really have any room to store any more of them, but it's usually so hard to pass up authentic 80s plushies.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Game wouldn't load, kept crashing at start up... I had to do the same thing. Start over

Same thing ALSO happened to me with the only other Gameloft game I've ever played: Littlest Pet Shop. One day, the game just started freezing every time I tried to interact with one of my pets. I just deleted the game eventually. I can only handle one game by a crappy developer at a time and MLP is my chosen "game that drives me nuts with glitches".

Speaking of driving me nuts... I was FIVE gems away from getting Rarity. FIVE!!!! And while playing last night before bed (yes, I was a little sleepy and not entirely with it) I accidentally tapped the 25 gem PAID balloon pop tent. TWENTY-FIVE FRIGGIN' GEMS GONE. On the plus side, I at least got a pony from the game (Dr. Whooves), but now I am 28 gems away from buying Rarity. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

Unfortunately for Gameloft, it's their BAD customer service (written to them three times about various things, only been responded to once to say they would "look into" my problem) and their inability to have a game that you can RESUME after a reinstall and their tendency for their games to REQUIRE a reinstall and the hours and days and weeks of GRINDING for ridiculously expensive gem items (and no, Gameloft, I WON'T buy gems for all the reasons I just mentioned) that will lead me to eventually just give up the game entirely. Any one of these problems would be frustrating, but you combine the four of them and this game is pretty much an exercise in futility. It goes from "Wow! This is fun!" to "I wonder if I'll get Rarity before I lose all my progress... and if so, I wonder how long I'll have her for before I lose her and everything else."

Again... SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH.

ARGH!!!

This new update is driving me BANANAS. I can't collect the hearts in my gift box AT ALL. It just crashes me to my home screen whenever I try. GRRRRR. I'm still sending out hearts whenever it lets me and even sending some treasure chests... whenever the game allows it. I don't crash trying to send, but more often than not, I get an error of some kind. The worst is when I try to "Gift All" and it makes me wait about 10 minutes while it tries to do it... and sometimes it does, but sometimes I just get an error message.

I really, really, really wanna do these Hearts & Hooves quests, but I can't collect enough hearts to do the second quest D: I have 300+ in my giftbox, but can't collect a single one... *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* I can collect from treasure chests, but no one seems to be sending them right now... probably because sending them is making THEM crash. If it's not one thing, it's another... Stupid Gameloft!

I have a lot of playsets and pieces, but only a few dolls... and all of them are in bad need of TLC. I haven't gotten around to doing it yet, but it's on my to do list!

astroasis - I laughed that you mention Zynga. I'm a big Zynga game player, but I have to say they are ranking higher than GameLoft in my books - yes they have a lot that you need to spend money for to get the "good stuff", but at least you can enjoy nearly every aspect of the game without spending any more.

Yeah, totally agreed! I'm a big Farmville player (used to play a bunch of their games, but they're all so time consuming lol) and I've always complained about Zynga's slow response to bugs and issues and their greedy game tactics... but Gameloft has completely changed my opinions. My goodness! At least when you mis-click and accidentally spend premium currency, Zynga will return the currency to you! And at least when you write to them, they actually WRITE BACK. And I've played their game for years without once losing ALL of my game data. I so far haven't managed to go a month on Gameloft's games without losing everything.

Occasionally, I could get the 2 bling for watching the video... but most days, it just gave me NOTHING. Same with the so-called "free lucky paws" draw we were supposed to get once a day. I got one the first time I played, but never again.

I've now stopped playing this game, sadly, because it started crashing to my home screen every time I tried to interact with a pet - which kind of defeats the purpose of the game. It seemed like the only way to fix this would be a complete reinstall, which I'm guessing would erase all of my data and make me have to start over. I already had this happen to me with the MLP game, too - and I did start that one over. But this one? I just decided to call it quits. I really hate how Gameloft's games make you start over as soon as the app has any kind of serious issues - and I put FAR too much time/effort into the pets I had (and I was a little attached to them, too) to just start over from scratch without being REALLY bitter about it :/

I always thought Zynga was the world's worst game developer, but Gameloft has swiftly made me change my mind. No support, no responses to contact efforts, games regularly just die on you, they make spending premium currency a REQUIREMENT instead of a perk... etc, etc.

I won't be playing ANY of their games any longer, aside from MLP... because, you know, PONIES.

For those of us totally unfamiliar with BJD style shoes, how do we know we're getting the right ones? And Daiyuflower, what size are those white boots? I love the fit on them!

Hey everybody! Over the last few days, I've noticed something odd. I keep having issues going to friends' towns to drop treasure chests. I get some message about an error and it just never connects. All other social features seem to be working just fine. But yesterday and today, I noticed I CAN connect, travel and drop chests in the afternoon hours. Weird, huh? I play a lot in the nighttime hours, so I thought my game was just broken ALL the time, but now I'm making a special effort to stop in every afternoon to drop boxes. I thought I'd share, in case anyone's having a similar problem! Since I started having this problem, I've hardly gotten any boxes, either, so I think maybe others might be having issues, too.

Ugh, just got to the "get 15 treasure chests from your friends" quest for Fluttershy. Anyone else there? I've been lax about leaving treasure chests lately (my 2 and 5 year old kids monopolize my iPad during the day when I used to do it), but it looks like I'll have to get back in the habit. If anyone else is stuck on a treasure chest quest, let me know and I'll try to send them to you! (Assuming the game lets me see you in my friend list. I can't see three of my personal friends right now, and with a friend list of almost 400, I might see 50 at a time. :p)

Also, I'm really relieved to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't see most of their friends in the game. I keep clicking "Gift All" in the hopes my gifts will reach these missing friends (I'm always getting gifts from people who don't show on my list, so hopefully it's so...?), but I worry that the majority of my friends think I'm not a good friend if they don't ever get anything from me!
