They might go with my method of fashion: opposite colors = pretty!
But yeah, that doesn't always work...there's a reason I'm not in the fashion business.  :P
I'll put something here some time

Hm...I'm not a huge fan of ponywear in general, but I actually think these would be kinda cute if they had more color. I'm certain I'm bound to end up with a bunch of re-releases and this would be one way to jazz an extra up if I couldn't get rid of her. lol

I'm I the only one who HATES tinsel of any kind whatsoever? I just can't stand it. Any G4 pony with it is getting it removed.

Luckily there are like 10 other Twilight Sparkles out there without tinsel. :P

i was exactly the same and for so weird reason i changed my mind even the coloured stuff i hated and now im collecting those tinsel versions, i must of bumped my head sometime.
though there is nothing worse then unboxing a mib pony to find the tinsel all frizzy and yukky :(

I'm pretty sure plastic gems fit into the holes on the dress, which is why the dress is plastic in the first place. I don't mind plastic dresses for this line, as long as they don't keep it that way forever, which I kind of doubt they will.

The clothes might be cuter if they were a bit more colorful and less solid.

I agree with storydreamer.  It would be cuter if they would paint in some more color on the dress.  Hasbro has had a bad habit of not doing enough of that lately.  Not crazy about that orange either.

I love the G4 fashion style clothes but the G4 clothes for the regular 3 inch size were to simple for me.  I think they thought it would be to dificult or costly to make elaborate clothes that small so maybe thats why they changed to plastic.

I am not fond of plastic clothes either but I have to say I like it better than the royal ball set.  I do like the flower girl outfits though!

Was Royal Ball the set where the ponies looked like they were wearing those smocks you wear while getting a haircut? Yeah, those were pretty awful.

Haha, smocks.  I can't hear "smock" without thinking about that Calvin and Hobbes comic where Hobbes got obsessed with the word: "Don't knock my smock, or I'll clean your clock!"

I'm not really one for pony clothes, but I honestly think the plastic clothes work better for the G4 ponies. What we've seen so far in actual fabric has been insanely simple; at least these allow for more detail.

Now, if they'd just paint the details rather than have them all solid-colored...
