It does look like G1 packaging! I hope she will be easier to get out and maybe there won't be tons of tape along her backcard.

I hope she's still that translucent, shimmery plastic. It's hard to tell from the pic. I love the new packaging, though. It will be much easier to open and hopefully it will stop the problems of dents on their legs and bodies.

It is a little G1 inspired packing! Wow...Hasbro did confirm they were cutting down on packaging I guess this is how they are doing it!

She has the block-y eye and tinsel in her hair - we have seen these girls on Taobao but its great to see they are finally coming out and how they are being packaged. More ponyville accessories lol!

I can't be the only one that dislikes this kind of packaging? It looks so cheap and easy to steal from. :/ Maybe these releases will be cheaper than average due to the minimal packaging and accessories.

I just hope it doesn't mean a packaging change, if there's anything from G1 that doesn't make sense anymore, it's the packaging, there's a reason it's different these days. You know all those Blind Bag stealing problems? Yeah...

Thats a good point Starly - I like the packaging so sorry not agreeing on that But your comment about whether this will be less expensive due to lack of content is a curious one. Somehow I doubt it though.
