We have Mr. Skeen's mum send us chicken salt every year so her darling baby boy won't have to do without, lol!  Mitani for the win!

Salt should be already been in the fries. But ketchup is the best <3 and also Cucumber mayonnaise yam! Oh now I need to get buy some.. I kind of have urge to get some

Thanks! It sounds a bit like Barbeque sauce. Anyone tried both and can tell me the difference? Is it more like A1 Steak sauce?

Barbeque sauce tends to be a bit sweeter and fruitier, whilst brown sauce is a bit more vinegary and spicy to me.

What's steak sauce?!

Steak Sauce might be closer to brown sauce then because "vinegary and spicy" describes it pretty well.

Also, I thought American fries=British chips and American Chips=British Crisps. Is that right?

Brown sauce definitely tastes different to barbecue sauce and is my go to sauce on a bacon butty. If you can't source any and you're interested we could do a sauce trade 

Generally speaking British chips are the same as American fries but I think probably thicker cut. When we think of fries we'll have McDonalds in mind and a good chip will be about three times as wide in each direction. You're right about crisps as well. 

I wonder if Brit "chips" are more like what we call "potato wedges" or "steak fries". Either way I need to try "chips and brown sauce" and now I need to try poutine.

Although the true breton (like my father, or my great aunt) would say that only salted butter should be considered.

Personally almost anything will do for buckwheat ones, for the wheat ones, I'm an extremist, only salted butter and sugar will do.

It's a seasoning that is supposed to be used for chicken, but tastes amazing on chips.  In Australia every take out place you can get chicken salt on your chips.  Some will just mix chicken stock powder with salt, but that's actually not what it's supposed to be, as if you buy actually chicken salt it's vegetarian.

Tomato sauce - not Ketchup it's too spicy; or
Gravy; or
Chicken salt; or
Mayo or aoli.

Depends what the rest of the meal is. I also like dipping them in my meat pie.

Cheese and bacon for me! A local burger joint has a garlic aioli sauce with parmesan and herb topping that I absolutely love as well.

Malt vinegar is my favorite thing! But I also like it with ketchup, or salt, or cheese...
