My two favorite G1 ponies are Twilight and Milky Way, both pink unicorns with white hair and glittery star symbols. I've noticed I prefer unicorns in general.

FedEx delivered two of my packages to the wrong address. I got my neighbor's mail instead, and my stuff is nowhere in sight. And of course FedEx is being impossible to contact.
Thankfully I'm getting everything sorted out with the sellers and I should be getting replacements. But this is all giving me a headache.

It's hard to say who my first pony was. It could've been Starglow, or either G3 Rainbow Flash or G3 Petal Blossom.
My most recent pony was my Disney Parks Pinkie Pie dressed as Cinderella MIB.

I love curly hair! The Rainbow Curl and Candy Cane ponies are some of my favorite G1s. I also love tinsel as long as it's in decent shape.
I think G3 is my favorite generation when it comes to hair, mostly because of the colors. I love ponies with multicolored hair, and that iridescent tinsel that so many of them have is pretty.

I recently bought a Spunky that has a haircut (the front half of her mane is almost completely gone) and I'm looking to rehair her. How long are her mane and tail supposed to be?

I love Potion Nova! Her colors some of my favorites on a pony and her cutie mark is pretty cool. I also love the detailed hooves. They remind me of G2.

Today must've been my lucky day because I thrifted some G1s for the very first time! I've found them at flea markets and antique stores, but never while thrifting! The bag they were in was just $2. And they're in amazing shape! Dancing Butterflies just has a tiny stain above her display side eye, while Zig Zag has no noticeable flaws after being cleaned up. I'm over the moon!

For a single pony, about $45. That was my G1 Yum Yum. My most expensive pony purchase though was my Canterlot and Seaquestria castle for $55.

I'm not a super picky collector. In fact, a lot of my G1s would probably be considered bait by a lot of other collectors. But I think these ponies deserve just as much love. Not all ponies need to be restored or customized. These "ugly" baity ponies have been well-loved, and sometimes it's nice to see that kind of wear and tear on an old toy.
People collect for different reasons, and everyone has their own preferences. A lot of people want to preserve ponies, regardless of their condition. Some people don't want to open a beat up MOC pony because, well, it's not like we're getting any more of those. Same goes for any old generation pony. What's out there is all we've got, so we might as well do our best to preserve them for as long as we can. These old toys are kinda like a time machine.

I've got a small handful of Funko Pops. I don't hate them, but I don't love them, either. I just buy characters I really like and ignore the rest.
