Yet More Blind Bags?

We're currently on Wave 5 at our TRU, but I've only seen those pop up once, and now we're back to Wave 4. I've got a few of Wave 6 I want once they pop up, but oh my goodness... Wave 7 is phenomenal. I only see a few of the whole set that I don't want! At first I thought they looked odd, but now I really like the look.

I am seriously giving up on these. They are just too hard to collect. It seems like every couple of months a new wave is announced and they pour them all on us at once. It's too expensive and too hard to find all the new ones.

I might pick some up if i happen to find them in stores. But i am not gonne bother looking for them anymore. They have become a hassle instead of something fun. Too many, too hard to find, too akward to look through them in stores, too expensive online and they end up taking up more space than i thought...

Anyway, yeah... Some of the blindbags are really pretty, and they're so colourful and there are so many... But then there are just TOO MANY. I can't even justify buying more with "it's a different character" because a lot of characters seem to be reused here... I just dont feel like its worth my time and money to seek them all out, even if they are cool looking. At this point Im even thinking about selling off the full wave I do have.

Thats becoming my issue as well.

I enjoyed searching them out and trying to find them when it was lots of different characters...but I dont really need 3 Royal Riffs and we only seem to be getting the occasional new character in amongst the sets now rather than mostly new characters and just a couple of repeats.

It almost seems Hasbro is releasing two waves at a time in the US. First they had the blue bags and the purple bags at the same time. Now they seem to be shipping out the yellowish bags and the dark purple ones. I bet they are going to be shipping out this wave at the same time as the grey bags. However I don't think we will be seeing either til later in the year.

There are Princesses, boys, glow in the dark ones...why re-releases of the same characters if they could make some Babies??? I just started collecting theses Ponyville FIM and I am still lost in all those releases. *gah*

That does seem to be the pattern but the grey/white ones are already listed as available on a couple of sites so either they are changing the pattern a little or this wave is coming very very soon.

Although it does look like another wave similar to that we have seen - the same characters made translucent.

I am so in 2 minds on blind bags at the moment 1) lots and lots of releases = yay! 2) it is rapidly becoming lots and lots of releases of the same ponies/characters in different ways = boo!

I am guessing these guys are from Wave 8.

That looks exactly like G3 Scootaloo except for the fact that she's a pegasus!  I hope Hasbro didn't forget that they already have a G4 Scootaloo lol.

Anyway, these are pretty but I'm getting sick of recycled characters for blindbags.

That's actually a different colored Sunny Rays, more like her Brushable release than her Wave 5 BB release :0
