Help with my Fun Fairy!

I was organizing my ponies and when I looked at my Fun Fairy I noticed her body was turning brown/yellow! Her head is still a crisp, clean, bright white, but her body (mostly her chest area) is turning brownish yellow Her legs don't look to be affected, just her middle. I'm wondering if it's the plastic wings, but I don't know if they would turn her body brown/yellow    Should I debox her and take the wings off? I like how she looks in her box, but I'll debox her if I can save her from turning brown
 
Here's a picture of her, but her body is much darker in person. Can't really tell from the pic. What do you think about the wings? Are they affecting her color?

I doubt it is the wings if more then the area under the wings is turning colors.  More likely she might have gotten some dampness in the box.

Hmm I am not sure what to suggest other than sunfading her out of the box. But some white ponies go brown in the sun....I am not sure why :/

You could de-box her carefully just to check the colour from her wings isn't leaching into the plastic but it's more likely the batch of plastic they used for her body is just deteriorating faster than the batch used for her head Where has she been stored to? As Partypony said some white ponies will discolour in the sun.

Yup...probably this - different plastics, different deterioration. Being in a plastic box isnt any more protected than being out in the open - we see that with G1s which have regrind or cancer or age marks but are still all cocooned up in their boxes.

I would say the only likely fix is a sun fade out in the open but that will defeat her MIB status of course.

I've already got a few white G3s with bodies slightly more off white than the heads. Plastic really doesn't last a million years like people think. Its probably some chemical changing color with age like the yellow nintendo problem where the fire-resistent chemical turned grey nintendos yellow.
