As some of you know I have been gone for a while and sadly I have not made much art either... until last year! One good thing this darn pandemic brought is more time for drawing. I’m trying to keep it small and simple though, don’t wanna burn myself out. But I might be up for a couple commissions later, if there is any interest. (Or maybe just selling some originals...) Thank you so much! It’s always such a confidence boost to post here. This artwork is really adorable! I'm so jealous of how good you are at traditional pencils! My specialty is digital, but I still wonder sometimes if I'd ever be able to match my skills there to what I can create on paper...
I guess coloured pencil is my speciality. I have also dabbled with digital (don’t have any examples at hand oh except for the Arena banner up there...  ) What I did most of the time with my digital pieces is I drew the line art on paper first and then somehow got that into my computer because even with a tablet it’s so hard for me to line art digitally. There is no wrong technique in art, do what you feel comfortable with, try something new or mix it up - just keep artsing!

That pastel piece is to die for! Love the palette and the idea. In my mind Pinkie Pie is the sort of like the G1 birthday pony, though I don’t know who’ll be better for Valentines if not her...

I’ve always wanted a Princess Rinse 'n Spit! She’s so hilariously weird and awesome. The Totsy ones are a close second. That evil grin! Love it. My absolute favourite is the Donkey fakies though.

Hello yet again Arena Peeps! Maybe someone actually remembers me from ye olde times but I feel like after almost 10 years(!) of being MIA a new introduction is in order. I am sirithfin (well yeah d’oh). I collected ponies for a few years and hung here a LOT before lite happened (new job, marriage, divorce, moving like three times, another marriage (a better one, yay!), and so on). These past weeks the pony boxes in the cellar have been very much on my mind. Ngl, I have been thinking about selling a bunch, but then I logged in on the Arena and it still feels so much like home so we’ll see what happens...! So happy the see some of you are still here!  Imma dig up my boxes this weekend and see what’s what and if the poor ponies have survived all these years and moves. Anyway, I am a lurker at heart but I might pop up here and there because I have missed all the rainbows and magic of this place! See ya!
