It helps a lot, thanks PKW.

I was thinking about £45 for Moondancer and about £5 for the Mexicans, so nice I'm in the same ball park.

Thank you all.

That's a great help.

I don't have pics to hand, but she's excellent.

Clean, no marks, great symbols and hair. Decent eyes for a printed Italian

How much is she going for these days?

I also have several Mexican ponies, Bowtie, Applejack, Cotton Candy, Starshine, Peachy. They are in "loved" condition with the typical poor hair, some marks, some symbol and eye rubs. What about them price wise?

Thanks!

Thanks!

I have a lot of tatty ones where the points and pony have been cut from the back. I was thinking $1.50 each.

But I also have in good condition Daddy Meadowsweet, baby Susie and Spot and Nurse Tenderheart's cards. Any ideas guys and gals?

I am right off ebay and would suggest selling here!

I sold several items in June, and JUST got the outcomes from Ebay on two item not received claims by buyers, during which time they froze my £90 in the Paypal account. Both were found in my favour as the items were sent insured and tracked but what a hassle.

They also refuse to move the negs from the 2 buyers, and I got 2 more negs from idiots who felt the cost of international signed for was to expensive. I only charged the actual costs.

So after UK ponycon, I will be listing what's left of my collection here.

I'm an UK pony too.

After ponycon, I'm going to get pictures and a sales thread up here with what's left. I'm getting rid of a lot of my herd, and concentrating on my rare Minty herd.

Oooh,

I love the idea of a name badge. I like crafts, so I must arrange that.

The only other thing I'd add is have a bag of change ready, as at the start of the day, lots of people come with notes instead of coins.

We're having a 2 day stall too, look forward to meeting you there.

Fabulous stories everyone, though some are a bit wacky.

When hubby and I were first dating, I got a weird call on the landline from an older lady insisting I had called her and she'd got my number from redial. It got a bit heated, until suddenly the penny dropped that he had tried to call his mum earlier from my phone.

That was my first ever conversation with my future mum in law, and we became firm friends after, until she passed away.

I'm currently upcycling unwanted show rosettes into Christmas cards for charity. Like this.

Another easy one is to use glass paint (the pen style ones are dead easy) to decorate used glass jars as tealight holders.

They are all gorgeous!

This was my Harry, he was a little rescue I had for a good couple of years. He'll be at the bridge for me.

I haven't got hamsters at the moment, just 18 rats. Lol!

So sweeet!

Rodents are great pets for youngsters. We have rats rather than meeces, but they are my little girls constant pals. She has them out in the doll house and the pony castle, or stealing her pens as she's colouring in.

I think half of the trouble is the G4's aren't appealing to children!

My daughter and friends have all gone off them since G3 and G3.5 ended. We did a charity fundraiser recently through work, and had a family fun day. I sold off about 200 loose G3 ponies, all going to young girls, many of whom (and their mums) commented how "nice" it was to buy the "pretty" ponies rather than the modern ones.

Is it maybe that collectors simply aren't buying enough to clear the old stock, and the little girls don't want them?

No mistake!

She sent me the item number, and named the pony.  She told me she had just seen another of the same pony on Ebay that reminded her she didn't get the one she bought from me.

I do wonder if she did get the package and has since misplaced the pony. I have a habit of losing ponies in my herd sometimes.  :P

Hiya,

I got a message today through ebay form a person that wants to know if I can help with a pony they did not receive from May 2011. I checked through my paypal and it was a TLC pony that sold for £0.99.

I checked my messages and I have nothing from this person until now, no disputes, no poor feedback, nada, zip, nothing at all.

So I have sent a polite note to say that had I been aware of a problem at the time, of course I could have helped, but after a year, there is nothing I am able to do.

What IS in the water these days?

OMG!

Having re-read my post above, I'm now laughing so hard! "She was my first ever fart!" 12 minutes to April fools here in the U.K and I am caught.

Lady G, thanks for clarifying Concave or collectors. That makes sense now.
