It's kind of a long story... for a while it was popular to watch episodes of Friendship is Magic on Youtube with the automatic captions on... since the captions were so terrible, they often led to very, very funny results. Steven Magnet is a fan name that came from this caption:

It's just too, too funny that that's his official trademarked name now, apparently.

Yeah, it's great to know they pay attention. I'll definitely applaud them for that. And it's not like the fans can do much worse than Hasbro sometimes, what with all the "Dazzle"s and Peachbottom, as examples. If anything, it just adds some variety and keeps things from getting stale. As long as they know when to draw the line... but so far I think the fan names have been fairly appropriate and often much cuter and more original than what I imagine Hasbro would've otherwise stuck us with.

I also wasn't sure where the name Steven Magnet came from. Thanks for explaining that, reanna-mator. I never watched the episodes on Youtube so I guess I missed the reference.

I like the elements of harmony one.  Is it me or does Rarity look weird.  All the blind bags I've seen of her look weird.   I don't know if her face is too rounded or what.  I know it isn't a blind bag set but it's similar.
