Ha ha! Rochelle's got a thing for high places. The branches on that tree are really thin, so all I did was bend her knees and ta-da! She hung in there like a champ. :)

I don't live inside of Denver, though I'm only about 30 minutes out.

Awhile back I posted a few paintings of Spectra I had done for class. I've finished the series now, so here they are :) Will start with the new series soon, I'm thinking it'll be my MH girls in general instead of one specific doll this time. (Lagoona isn't actually part of the series, but was another larger piece that I just chose to kinda mimic the theme going on in my series.)

Mostly in order from when I did them :) They're all from photos I took of my dolls. This was actually my first time touching oil paints, so it was quite the experience!

And yes, I'm glad I decided to keep her as well, especially because my wife took one look at her and declared her her favorite (mainly because of her striking red hair and victory rolls, which she said stood out against the rather "bland" hair colors/styles that all the other dolls have).

I have one more pin-up shot to do. It's an extra-special one. Then I'm planning on pairing up Opie with Plumsweet for my next MH-MLP crossover.

I think she is a bit of both, a bit of pink but not enough to be all the way pink(if that makes any sense) with a hue of light lavender.Then again each doll could be different :). That's just my two cents on it  :biggrin:
  Ok now back to topic I just got my Howleen yesterday and she is soo cute, I love the way the ear tips flop over and I love her style and I took a quick picture, nothing as fancy as what all I have seen here. Man you all have taken some extremely excellent pictures!! I really need to get out an practice more I didn't realize still I started how much fun it was going to be :) Here's my ghoul :)

LOL. Well, I just picked up a DDG Operetta for her outfit, and she is definitely a bit pinker than the signature Operetta. It seems to depend on the light as well. In the shade, she seems quite pink, but when there's a good amount of light on her, she is clearly lavender. My one is anyway.
