Please help: decisions in pony lots!!!

I thought I would treat myself for Mother's Day!! But I'm totally stuck between to lots that are the same price....

The one only has G1

I am a G1 collector so I would go with the first lot. But it depends on what you collect - are you buying for your own collection or to resell some on? Do you collect all generations or have a preference for one over the other?

I LOVE the look of the G1's but I know nothing about their values...  I used to collect the G3's before I gave them away, but I do collect all generations, I don't have a preference I think all generations are beautiful

Looks like there is a G1 in the second lot- the large white "pony bride" in the background. Good variety in this lot, although some of them are fast food toys. I think I like the second lot, although I'm primarily a G1 collector myself.

The G1 lot looks as though it needs work so they are not worth a minty price each. The G3/4 lot has lots of ponies. I really think its something you have to decide for yourself and what you would prefer to own.
