MLP in Sparkle World magazine

I thought that some of you may be interested to know that MLP FIM is a common feature in Sparkle World magazine.  Unless you have a kindergarten aged little girl, you probably don't even know about this magazine. 

We got our issue in the mail today and there was a pull out poster of Applejack and a MLP workbook.  The last issue had a MLP workbook also.

Oh, yeah, Sparkle World. Way ahead of ya. Been buying it for a while now for the Strawberry Shortcake :P Ponies only added to the appeal of the magazine.

I like the stories in them better than... oh, wait, nvm, doesn't exist.
As I was saying, I like the stories in them. Easy to digest and sweet- makes for excellent bedtime reading material.

Still waiting for the latest issue tho. According to Redan the UK edition gets one new mag every 3 weeks while the US mag gets one every month or so.

Wait, what?!  The UK gets a new issue every 3 weeks!?  We have to wait 2 months for a new issue.  NOT fair :cry:!

Are you sure the US version is once every two months tho? I noticed that to be the case with the last issue (it lists the issue as being for April and May), but this issue lists only one month (only June) and not two months.

8 issues a year. That works out to roughly one issue every 6 weeks.

The local Borders inexplicably carries both versions of the magazine. Though I think ours are currently way behind on the UK issue of Sparkle World. On my last check, the UK Sparkle World available here is only up to #138 right now (MLP workbook with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie on cover- why can't the UK print the issue date instead of a hard to remember number?!?), but US Sparkle World is currently up to date (June 2012, SSC workbook. No MLP Poster tho  :cry:).

I've seen these at barnes and noble and in the hospital gift shop where my husband's physical therapy is but the issues I've seen just didn't have enough MLP stuff for me to justify buying it. (Only a couple pages and not so interesting content to me.) I'll have to keep a closer eye out for ones with posters and stickers.

Well, usually, it's either a 4-page short story or a two-page activity sheet. But occasionally (three times over the past last year in the case of the UK issue) the magazine will feature a 24 page activity booklet with the stickers.
