Special Season Ponies? Are there anymore like this?
« on: June 18, 2012, 03:26:51 PM »
Does anyone know if there were more special release ponies like these? I know the Fluttershy was a spring release [Easter?] and the Pinkie Pie was Valentine's Day. Were there anymore? They are so cute!

If you're only looking for G4 ponies, unfortunately those are the only two. But if you also collect G3's there is a wide range of seasonal and holiday ponies that are all very nice. :) These include Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Easter, and more!

Oh wow. Thanks :) Maybe they'll do G4's for the holidays :) I got the Pinkie Pie's on eBay, but I it had a lot of two of them... Still in the package. I only want one [to rip out of the package hehehe] So, I don't know if anyone wants one, but I will have an extra when it comes in......

Hey, I'm from Panama City, FL! :)

You should really look at the G3 winter ponies. They're adorable!

Lets hope for Minty in the winter!!! HA, I doubt it. Anyway, I like the fact that these gals have something different. I would like to have the Valentine's PP (anyone willing to trade for the Springtime Fluttershy? I have two!)

As last winter approached, I made this image to show what I would like to see next.

Yup - thats been it so far. Seasonal ponies seemed very popular and reasonably regular in the G3 line...but I would guess from the number of old Fluttershy and PPs which seem to turn up in discount/old stock stores here in the UK, the G4 versions were not overly popular sellers. I will join most people in hoping we get more, but I would suspect if they were not successful we are not likely to see others. Mind you I think they were probably more successful in G3 as often it was different ponies rather than as with G4 when it seems to just be one of the main 6 up-cycled.

I made my own Applejack'o'lantern custom, because I wanted a Halloween pony so bad! I'd love to see more seasonal ponies!!! ^_^

@brittney_rochelle, that's an awesome concept for a winter pony!

I bought my boyfriend the Valentine's PP, and she hangs out with his crochet baneling.

These are really cute for gifts, so I'd love to see more so I can give ponies to people!

Since Photobucket stopped dying, I'll post a picture of my Applejack'o'lantern pony now! ^_^ I wanted a Halloween pony so much - I made my own! She's a simple modification of Applejack, with a stripe of Glow In the Dark nylon in her mane and tail, freckles on her cheeks, and jack'o'lantern apples on her hip!
