The Great Minion Rescue

A few weeks ago, while walking through the Toys R Us parking lot, I saw this little black squishy blob on the ground. It seemed odd, so I picked it up. Hubby and I both examined the many times run over and walked on thing for several minutes before I finally declared, "It's a minion!!" Hubby looks and says, "Hmm. It is a minion." I shoved the little guy in my purse and hubby looked at me like I was nuts but just shrugged. There the blackened minion sat for a few weeks until I suddenly remembered him one day. I took him into the bathroom and scrubbed him down with a tooth brush. This is what was revealed under all the layers of road dirt.

Then I took the little guy and pulled out my paints. It took forever. Both yellow and white are completely evil colors. His surface was rough and rubbery so it would have been difficult to get a smooth coat even if the colors hadn't been yellow and white. I ended up having to strip him and start over several times. Finally though, the little minion once again looked like a little minion. Not perfect, but better. This is what he looks like now!

I love the Minions , I'm happy you rescued it and gave it new life.  Maybe he's love Bapple Jack (in Minion talk ) and wouls but bapples from her. I haven't seen the second movie yet - I wasn't feeling well and had just moved when it came out last summer.
