Enjoyed a weekend staying at home in the warm, sunny weather. Whilst tidying the garage today, I found a box of old seed packets from a few years ago. I didn't want to throw them away (especially as garden centres are currently on lock-down), so I got some trays and planted them! Now, let's see if they will germinate! They include cosmos and bright yellow marigolds (I prefer this colour to the usual orange-yellow) worth a try, no?

Seed packets do have dates on them but they're not always actual expiry dates. I remember once having a pack of seeds that had 1996 as the expiry date. We planted them in around 2005 and they grew beautifully. Plants are a great inspiration in how to survive no matter what.
