Hi all!

I have an almost complete gen2 collection; only some super rare ones are missing (like the blue haired Ivy). I know I have a bunch that are worth a lot and some that are worth nothing at all, but the truth is I have no time to sort it all out. I just need to get rid of them as soon as possible, but I also would like to get at least some money for the rare ones at least. I will only keep about 20 that are dear to me.

Should I just sell it as one big lot? Would anyone be even interested in that? Or should I take out the rarest ones to sell separately and sell the rest as a lot?

Update: I'm still getting a lot of PM's over this, I sold my entire collection to a fellow collector so I no longer have any gen2 for sale. thanks!

The Dollhouse / [FS] Fairyland Feeple65 Siean

Hi all!

I have decided to part with my Feeple65 Siean, who is currently sold out. She’s been standing on display for two years without being touched or even looked at much, and it’s time for her to move to a new home where she gets the love and attention she deserves!

I bought this girl spring 2013 from Fairyland so I’m her first owner and she’s almost 3 years old. As I haven’t done much with her, she’s in absolutely amazing condition.
She has the standard Fairyland faceup and has not been restringed. I only opened her up once to change her eyes. There are no scratches or stains on her, and it doesn’t look like she has discolored much, if at all. If you want closeup photos or have any questions please do ask! Despite having BJD's for a while now, I don't know much about them so I might overlook something important to you. So if there's any details you want information on just ask. :)

In addition to the doll, you will get three shirts and a skirt (all from Iplehouse), the white wig pictured (Cancan Jseries) and three pairs of eyes (her original Fairyland ones and two extra, I’m sorry I forgot which brand ^^;). She will be shipped in her original box and will come with her instruction manual. Please note she does not have a CoA as Fairyland only started making them after I had purchased her (see their press release here).

I would like E500 for her. I can accept payments in 2 installments, jut PM me and we’ll figure something out. Please note I am located in the Netherlands; just PM me for shipping costs to your country and I’ll get you a quote!

Pony Corral / Should I keep Rainbow Forest online?
« on: October 13, 2015, 03:02:34 AM »
Hi all!

As you may or may not know, 13 years ago I created the site Rainbow Forest as an ID guide for gen2 ponies, which didn't exist yet back then. However, I haven't updated the site in ages; I simply don't have the time for it, and most of my ponies are in storage anyway. I attempted to update it twice, but I never got around to finishing it. By now, I am 100% sure I'll never get around to completely updating it on my own.

I am currently moving my websites to a different host (which is why it's currently offline), so I'm looking into everything that doesn't need moving to save myself some time. I was wondering if I should move Rainbow Forest, or just delete it? There's plenty of better gen2 guides out there these days :) Of course I can put a simple page in its place redirecting new visitors to some of these.

Thanks!

For Sale - For Auction / For Sale - almost my entire gen3 collection!
« on: September 05, 2015, 05:31:08 AM »
Hi all!

I decided to part with most of my gen3 collection because I simply do not have space or time for them. I really need to get these girls out of my house as soon as possible :) We just don't have space for them and it's time for them to go.

There's a few simple rules:

1) All ponies are E3,50 each. I will give a discount if you buy multiple.
2) I really prefer to sell them in lots. People who want to buy several ponies will get priority!
3) Please, when communicating about these ponies, refer to their letter and number. I don't know all their names. This will also really help me find the ponies swiftly.
4) Most of these ponies are in great condition. They've been part of my collection and never been played with, but have been in storage most of the time. As such, some smell a bit dusty. This should come off with a wash! I just don't have time to get them all sparkly right now. There are some ponies that are quite sticky (mostly the earlier pearly ones and the see-through ponies), and a few that I got second hand that aren't as great as the rest. Please if you are unsure about a pony's condition, do ask! :)
5) I am located in The Netherlands. Payment by Paypal only (except for Dutch citizens).
6) I also do have several playsets (Butterfly Island, the first castle and a few more). If you're interested, do PM me.

The Dollhouse / does anyone know where to sell Collector Barbie dolls?
« on: August 27, 2015, 11:29:25 AM »
Hi all!

A friend of me is trying to sell some of her collector Barbies (Dancing fire (MIB) Scarlet macaw (MIB) and designer spotlight Katiana), but she's not a big collector and not a part of any communities so she doesn't know much about where to sell them or what to ask. We did look around on Ebay for prices, but I'd like to ask some people with more knowledge. I'd hate for her to lose out on money because we didn't do proper research (I don't know the first thing about them myself).

Does anyone know of Barbie collector communities they'd recommend?

Thanks so much :lovey:

The Dollhouse / WANTED: Pullip type 4 bodies!
« on: August 15, 2015, 01:50:52 AM »
Hi!

Not sure if this is the right subforum for it, but there seems to be no wanted section... :)

I'm looking for 2 type4 bodies for two of my girls who are still stuck on a type3. It's for a Raphia and an Uncanricky. Raphia is pretty tan, while Uncanricky seems to be pretty natural, so I'm looking for both a natural and a tan body. Please PM me if you have either for sale! :)

Thanks!

Pony Brag Arena / Luna and the Imperial March - Scandinavia brag!
« on: August 14, 2015, 10:38:20 AM »
During our holiday in Scandinavia I not only spotted ponies in a museum, I actually also found ponies! :D

We initially went to Copenhagen where I almost immediately ran into a build-a-bear workshop  I didn't even know we had those in Europe! So I was super excited to see they even had the ponies! I didn't instantly take one home but we came back later that night after taking a walk through the (BEAUTIFUL) city first. While I was deciding on what pony to get, my fiancee spotted a Luna on display a bit further away and after asking one of the insanely friendly and happy employees they still had Luna in the back :D So I had to have her. My fiancee was joking around in the Star Wars isle while we were waiting and found the Imperial March music thing you can put in your toy, and we got the wicked idea to just put one in Luna!  My fiancee also got me the outfit and we even went back the next day to get the shoes and a lightsaber    When one of the employees found out what we did she laughed so hard!

I had vowed not to get any pony plushies anymore, but I love her soooo much  :lovey: and I'm so happy we got her on our amazing trip and that she is my little Sith pony! ;)

A few days later we were in Sweden and visited a little coastal town and I randomly walked into a little souvenir shop hoping to find some postcards, when I found gen1 stuff  :dropjaw:

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

The ponies are the 2007 reissues from the 25th anniversary pack, which I thought was only sold in the USA? I have NO idea how these ladies ended up in Sweden! We actually had to come back for it all the next day, as we had no cash and the store didn't accept cards and there were no ATM's in the little village... I'm glad they were all still there! I already own the anniversary packs MIB, but I just couldn't leave them behind!! Absolutely love the bag, too. I think it's originally from Primark.

Pony Corral / The super awesome toy museum in Sweden that has ponies!
« on: August 13, 2015, 01:23:51 AM »
My fiancee and I have been on holiday in Sweden last week, and I found this ad about a fun toy museum in a small village. We decided to go check it out, expecting some toy trains and tin soldiers, but instead we found this amazing museum that has SO MANY toys! A lot of them were from the 80's and 90's like Lego, Barbie, Polly Pocket and Playmobil, but they even had a lot of modern toys as well like Bionicle and movie-tie ins from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

Of course I was hoping to see some ponies, and sure enough they had a few! It was SO cool to see toys I actively collect on display in a museum! Eep I was so excited :frolic: They had a bunch of gen1 ponies with some European exclusives, and a bunch of fakies thrown into the mix (I don't think they knew that much about ponies), plus the school and kitchen playsets. Their gen1's looked really nice with bright pink hair on some of them.

The museum is in Eslöv, their website is here.
Here's some photos!

Off Topic / I got engaged!!! Eeeep!!
« on: June 27, 2015, 11:26:37 AM »
Yay! Now that we've told all the parents, I really need to share this with my fellow pony friends! :D

My boyfriend took me to Leiden last Sunday, the city where I studied and where we first met. We walked around for a bit thinking back on all the good times we had there until we ended up by a little bench at a canal, which was where we first confessed our love for each other years ago. By then I sort of knew what was coming, as we had picked out the ring together two months ago in Paris ;) But I was still so nervous! He finally proposed and of course I said yes

In the evening we had dinner at a lovely restaurant before going to a Taylor Swift concert (her song 'Mine' is our song :) ), which was amazing and such a great way to end the perfect day!!

I'm so excited to start planning our wedding! :frolic: I was never one for white dresses and fancy parties, but finding the right guy sure did change my mind on that! We're getting married at a castle somewhere next year!!

I could not be happier or more excited! I'm going to spend my life with my great love :lovey:
