There is also a mini giant pj case sized
prototype of rainbow dash that ausmlp won off of eBay many years ago. She is not a pj case though, just a plush and was made with the same plush fabric as the 1st released giants.

I wish I could find all of these wonderful ponies. I have found some but the seller would not work me on shipping to the US

They are lovely but I owuldn't have room for them. I have a couple of bigger plush but they are in my bedlinen closet as no place for them. I'd forgotten I had them 'til now.

She is the one who actually says "prototype on her label" isnt she...I think at the time the company confirmed she was essentially a display version for sales people to show to stores and that she should have never been available on the market. Very very cool addition to a collection!

I believe it said "sample" on the tush tag. I also remember at the time she thought she was bidding on an actual giant but it turned out to be a prototype, how cool is that?

You are right Hathocat, she's the size of the giants and what hasbro called a prototype back in the day.

Spinky69er - have you ever had any luck on tracking down information on whether the Star Catcher and StarSwirl which were in the same catalogue as your Butterscotch were ever "let loose" from the manufacturer? I so hope one day that they turn up somewhere.

Here's an updated photo of my giant plushies, I just recently got Minty from my Grandparents as a belated birthday present (she had to fly up from NSW with them), so happy! And I'll always absolutely love my RD that Spinky helped me get!
My plans are to only keep RD, Minty and Pinkie because they're my favs, so I have those two in the front for trade. I just wish I could find my grail sooner because these girls are taking up literally 1/4 of my room, getting to my cupboards is an absolute nightmare!
