A local(ish) toy shop has the plushies in stock; I checked the hooves the other day and they were all stamped. So I think we're probably only going to see those versions in shops here.

I’m so excited, I just pre-ordered two of the Celestials from Five Little Diamonds!

I got all three of the plushes from Amazon about a week ago.  I’m in the USA, but they came from the UK.  All three came in higher quality zipper bags that had the 40th anniversary logo and information on them.

Basic Fun posted pics on Facebook of the Rescue at Midnight Castle set and the Celesita ponies so we can see what they look like in the boxes.  I took screenshots since I know that not everyone has a Facebook account.  Is it okay to post the screenshots here as long as Basic Fun gets the credit?

The images seem to be freely visible; no need for a facebook profile. I'm not on facebook at all.

I'm hopeful seeing that the RaMC set says "series 1"...

I love the packaging of the Rescue at Midnight castle set.   

Can anyone tell if the artwork on the box is new or it they're using recycled images?  Some of it looks like I've seen it somewhere before, but I can't quite place it.

I think it is new, but you're right, it seems familiar. First thing I thought of was one of the more obscure DVD covers we've had over years for the MLP Movie '86. I could be misremembering though.

Bit funny how the Celestial Ponies' packaging has a sticker pointing out the 40th anniversary brush. Makes me think of Lisa Simpson's "But she has a new hat!" because sure, that standard brush with a sticker on it is the grail in that box!

Oooh is this the first time we've seen the Ember figure?? She's so cute and tiny!

I LOVE the packaging!! It's all so shiny and colourful and aaaaaa!!!! And oooh "series 1", fingers crossed that means there'll be more series on the way!!

The art style on the RaMC box looks vaguely familiar, but I think it's all new art. It does remind me of some of the G1 movie DVD art I've seen though. Hmm, and some fanart, so I wonder if maybe they've gotten a fan-artist to do the box art? :o

Ahhhhh the RaMC box has Scorpan and a Stratadon though!! <333 Now I really want to see the back of the box haha

Since the Basic Fun rep said that the minis are simply scaled down versions of the larger ones, could that mean that they already have a regular size baby pony waiting in the wings...? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part?

EDIT: Never mind, i just remembered that they made a mini Spike sculpt just for this line, so the same probably goes for the baby.

I'm convinced that if the G1 retro stuff continues, it's more likely to follow the blind bag line, as BF have a lot of experience in that area and theyre the kind of things that will sell well.

The Celestials...argh will need at least one MIB, won't I.

Is that rainbow a little handle on the box??

I like the blind bags, but am still confused why Starflower xD.
