- Crib
- Pink toybox & lid
- Lavender floor lamp
- 2x ceiling fans & their rods
- Light blue vanity
- Pink bed with lavender headboard
- Lavender stereo
- 2x yellow speakers

Smaller items: - Duck pulltoy
- 2x pink fat-tooth comb
- Lavender table lamp

- 2x pink milk carton
- 2x pink teaspoon

I recently bought a game off of eBay. Unfortunately, the seller (who is very new) seems to be an inexperienced mess and a frustrating situation has developed.
They accidentally shipped out the wrong item to me. They sent a message informing me of the mistake and asking me to send the incorrect item back when it arrived. Then they sent a followup message that they were sending out the correct item, and one that they had sent it. But it seems my slowness in responding to the messages (along with the stress of the mistake) caused them to panic, because they then sent a message saying they were refunding me until the situation was resolved. By the time I saw any of these, they had already refunded me. And ironically, despite their panic I have yet to hear back from them after replying to those messages.
Which was not a very helpful move and actually makes it harder to resolve the situation, because the refund means I can't open a return request and will have to sort out the return label entirely myself. To make matters all the more annoying, the incorrect item sent was an iPhone 11. Which means it's hazmat due to the battery. And USPS' crappy Click'N'Ship web interface allows you to properly identify package contents as hazmat (and what type)... but is apparently incapable of letting you select a compatible shipping service type for that, so I can't actually buy a label online without repeating the seller's malfeasance of not properly labeling it as hazmat. So I guess I'll be dragging myself to the post office tomorrow...
Argh. What a total headache. Kinda makes me wish you could dispute refunds.
What feedback should I leave whenever this is finally sorted?

So, I got two pony things in on Friday. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe first was this set of Starlight Studios repro flutter pony wings. Been eyeing them for ages, and finally sprung for some. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd I'm very glad I did. I gave them to Rosedust, and my word do they look stunning! Definitely need to get another dozen sets. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHere's a comparison with the homemade pair she previously had. The other thing... is big. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI occasionally browse for Paradise Estate listings to wishlist, with the faint hope of somehow finding a relative bargain. This time, that hope was granted: A decently-complete Paradise Estate, for $170. It was local pickup only (which I can understand with this behemoth of a playset), but the location was in a town fairly close to mine. There was the slight issue of the fact that I still don't drive yet (despite being 32) and have to rely on others for rides, but thankfully the seller was very accommodating. They were happy to drive it to my place and drop it off, since it was only a short trip. And so I bought it, they dropped it off Friday evening, and I am very happy. I've been wanting Paradise Estate ever since finding out about it, and now I finally do. It was worth both the money and having to rearrange my shelves a bit to make room to store the sections. As an added bonus, the lot included a Lullabye Nursery crib and bathtub (although strictly speaking the tub is the wrong color for the dresser and shelf in mine; anyone want to trade?) The set is missing about half the furniture, but it was still a great deal. I am very much chuffed to have gotten my hands on it.

Meant to post this on New Year's Eve, but I crashed before I got around to it and have been procrastinating it since. So, first up is a super-belated brag. Got these girls in April (IIRC) of last year" visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI sought to get my own Peach Blossom so that I could stop borrowing the one I got for my mom in 2012. And the cheapest listing wound up being an auction for a lot that also had Forget-Me-Not in it. I already had Forget-Me-Not, and I have yet to decide what to do with the extra. Next up is Nova, who's only belated because I didn't post this on the 31st like I originally meant to: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBought her on Christmas Day with funds from an eBay gift card, and she arrived the 30th. I want the whole set, but she's the one I wanted most because I really like blue, and I found a good deal on her. Very happy to have her, and the box is super-cool.

Back on the 26th of November, I won an auction for a railway wagon from the UK. It has yet to arrive. It has yet to be even marked as shipped. I have messaged the seller multiple times by this point, but have not heard back even once. All their recent feedback is positive (and fairly current), so I don' think they're a scammer... but they certainly haven't been communicative. They also have no other listings currently.
I'm worried. Is it time to tell eBay "I didn't receive it"?

I wanted to do this last year but I totally missed any reasonable window for it. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI can at least get the nursery with the orange ribbon posted while it's still Halloween in my timezone. But the planned trick-or-treat setup will be belated sadly. EDIT: Argh I posted this in the wrong place. I meant to post it in the Brag Arena. I am a complete numpty.

Back in late May, I bought a Transformer off eBay. The shipping charge was $10.20. But the actual shipping amount on the box was $6.35 - so the seller overcharged me by $3.85. I've messaged them multiple times, but they haven't responded. What should I do? I haven't left feedback on the order yet, because I was hoping to resolve the matter first.

Hooooo boy is this overdue. Some might recall me talking in the Shoutbox late last April about buying this lot. The order was made April 27th 2022, and the lot arrived May 1st 2022. But it seems that between college, the chaos of trying to reorganize after the rewiring, and my girlfriend's passing... I never got around to posting about it or even uploading the pictures to DeviantArt and it is now March 10th, 2023. Good job. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo, here's the big UPS box they arrived in. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd here's the box popped open, revealing the treasures within. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginVoila. I like how it was packed - see how one half of the nursery front was tucked into the stable? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe Show Stable, set on the shelf that has become its home. And with the other large front door attached. Fun fact: it actually had the large doors on upside-down until yesterday. They are now on the right way, where they can actually hold the roof shut. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHere's the nursery in a temporary location on the shelf; it now lives next to the stable. Neither playset had their actual ponies, but the lot did come with three G 3 ponies: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMinty, Ribbon Wishes, and McDonald's Toola-Roola. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe stable's weather vane was broken, but I've recently begun work on fixing it up. It can at least sit in the cupola now. There will be more pics soon!

I've always wanted Steamer to have an engine to drive (and a train for it to pull). I recently finally got to work on that. I intend to work in influences from both Steamer's symbol and the engine pictured on the box of the Merry-Go-Round boardgame. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI started with an 8-pack of Pop-Tarts, it was about the right size with some building up. But at first, I lost track of how I wanted the windows to be and made the cutouts wrong. Which required more building up to fix. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginHere's the revised version, with one of the two possible boilers - an empty baked beans can - trial-fitted with hot glue. I like the proportions this gives, but I worry about the space it makes the locomotive take up. The other candidate for a boiler is the frosting can the engine is perched on for these photos. It would look very stubby, since it's shorter than the cab, but it would save some space. I'm having trouble deciding, so I was hoping to get some input from people here.

I meant to draw multiple Junicorn pics (and will probably be doing some belated ones), but I got too distracted wrestling with my new PC copy of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords as well as my usual procrastination. But I was determined to not let it pass me by completely, so I hurriedly drew a pic last night. I wanted it to celebrate Pride Month as well, so I chose one of the Rainbow Pony unicorns. I went with Moonstone because she was the first of them I acquired. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I ordered an item off eBay on December 28th. The estimated delivery date was between January 13th to January 15th. It hasn't shown up yet, it's not marked as shipped, the seller has not responded to either of my messages yet, and their most recent feedback has multiple negatives talking about ahipping.
But at the same time, I know things are chaotic, the postal service is overloaded and has been subjected to top-down sabotage...
And the item I bought was a rare deal for the item in question.
Idk what to do

So, I'm trying to reproduce some parts by making impressions of them with air-dry modelling clay and then using those impressions to mold more clay into copies of the parts.
But I've been having a problem of the clay "sticking" to the impressions too much.
Is there anything I can coat the inside of the impressions with to prevent this?

Been on a bit of a BSG kick lately, and got the crazy idea into my head to knock together a Colonial Viper for my G1 ponies. And I have been acting on it. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFirst step was the cockpit box. Measured width-wise for the Bowtie Pose and lengthwise for the Posey Pose. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNext was the central former for the fuselage, which you can see being worked on in the previous pic and which is now mounted. Next up will probably be the core of the tail section, but I might do the cross-section formers for fuselage first instead.

I try to stick with a computer as long as possible, esp. if it's a decent one. However, some crucial parts on mine are showing signs of wear. The connection between the hard drive and motherboard seems to be slightly unstable (sometimes just causing grumpy beeps from my harddrive, sometimes causing random restarts); I'm not sure which is more at fault. I also have a problem with the SATA and power cables sometimes working slightly loose. But both are no doubt somewhat the worse for wear from having to endure several unwanted shutdowns from the circuit popping.
So I need recommendations for replacements, ideally inexpensive (as far as such components go) * The motherboard must have PS/2 mouse and keyboard ports, ideally must have 3.5mm speaker and headphone jacks, and should have a decent number of USB ports as well as auxiliary card sockets on the board itself * The harddrive must be at least 2 terabytes, since that's what I have now. I might need to replace the CPU too.
I'm also wondering if you can get more flexible SATA cables these days.

I'm primarily a traditional artist - I draw with pencil, ink with a felt-tip pen, and color with colored pencils (previously I favored crayons, but colored pencils blend better and at their best have better control).
However, a frequent frustration of mine is inconsistent results when sharpening. Sometimes they'll sharpen fine with no hassle, but at other times problems like the pencil randomly snagging on the blade and/or the pencil being sharpened but the forces involved breaking the newly-sharpened tip loose from the core. Even when I'm being gentle... It's annoying, especially with the inconsistency, and it artificially shortens the working life of the pencils. I suspect the sharpener is the main culprit - it's just a basic 2-bore sharpener, and a plastic-bodied one at that.
So can anyone please recommend a good sharpener to me?
