I wonder who the 4 gems in the cluster were? They're long gone now, obviously, but I wonder who they used to be? We haven't seen Emerald or Topaz yet, which seems odd as those are 2 pretty well known gems. I'm curious.

Started rewatching the series because my fiance wanted to see what all the fuss is about... he LOVES it!  Tonight we were at dinner with some friends, so he quoted one of the episodes we recently watched and one of my friend's was like "He likes Steven Universe, huh?" then a few quotes later: "He really likes Steven Universe, huh?"

I gave it a try recently and liked it too.  Along with Adventure Time, it's got a surprising amount of adult humor.

which is funny because the creator of Steven Universe worked on Adventure time too

Oh my gosh, I identify with Sadie SO MUCH.  My mom is also a well-meaning person who, when I was a kid, took over projects and forced me onto teams.

Steven's performance was amazing and so perfectly Steveny.  Also, I was very happy to see a focus on Sadie that wasn't about her crush on Lars (if that's even a thing anymore?).

Did anyone else notice that while everyone else was cheering for Steven, Lars was checking his phone?  Lars, don't be that guy.

Catch and Release:

*shrill scream to the heavens*  So much happened in this episode!  How do they pack so much into 11 minutes??

There were so many good and funny moments!  Peridot demanding if this or that was a weapon and trying to flush her way to freedom, the expressions on the Crystal Gems' faces when she runs into the living room, and Amethyst saying "Homegirl knows we're gonna pound her into a green pancake. 

Oh, also Amethyst gleefully dumping Peridot's tech into the sea.  Amethyst had a lot of good moments.

I love episodes that are game-changers without being super predictable, and I could NEVER have predicted Peridot living in Steven's bathroom.  I can't wait to see what happens next.

Also, I'm beginning to wonder if Steven's healing powers only work on living beings.

Nightmare Hospital was creepy as all heck
Sadie's Song was meh :/
And Catch and Release was awesome, Peridot is so cute when she's armor-less! I had no idea she wore armor this whole time! But does that mean she's powerless when she's not armored?

Catch and Release was a great episode. Seeing Peridot slap fight Steven was so funny. There were a lot of great quotes and expressions this episode. My favorite was Peridot try to escape via the toilet.

Catch and Release made my fiancé and myself realize that this show could really benefit from being 22 minutes long as opposed to 11. When it ended I was like "Wait, NO!"

There was so much squeezed into Catch and Release, I thought it MUST be a longer episode than it was!! What a fun episode! I feel like I'm the odd man out though, I kinda find Peridot annoying! I find a lot of her recent behavior cute, but ... She's still the same Peridot who tried to kill everyone! Is this what people mean about 'woobifying' a villain?
