I just hope they release the first season on DVD soon. I need to own it, plus I have a friend I sucked into this fandom and they want to watch the series from the start.

I'd bet SU merch will start being released next year. IIRC Regular Show didn't get anything until it was partway through its third season. idk why but sometimes merch takes ages to be released, even though there's clearly a market for SU merch! It's weird.

(Also, a lot of the episodes that Rebecca boarded for Adventure Time are amazing - "Fionna and Cake" is one of my absolute favourites - but I'd suggest against *only* watching her episodes. If just because quite a few of them rely on information given in other episodes that she didn't work on - "Jake the Dog" is the last part of a three-parter, for example.)

Going back on topic, I'm so excited for next week's Stevenbomb! I'm really curious as to who Sardonyx will be.

I hope there'll be another Lars/Sadie episode too! (Not necessarily a shippy episode, mind, just one with those two in it) It feels like we haven't seen them in forever.

My son points out that Lars is a jerk to Sadie and that's not how good friends act. (I use cartoons as a "good friends/bad friends" scenario for him.)

And that's next week?! Seems it sped to get here.

Ok, so I'm a little late to the party, but my son has recently started watching this show.  He loves it! I've been watching it with him and I have to say, it's really... different, but in a refreshing way! It's not everyday you see a show about a sensitive kid and such strong female leads.  Gotta say, Im also digging  Greg's song "Comet" from "Story for Steven".

Definitely looking forward to binge watching the episodes in order with him so I'll be more up to speed.

Ahhh I loved all of Rebecca Sugar's episodes on Adventure Time, I always looked forward to them as there was always a little more depth than the others. Even though it was light, the plots were had a certain finesse to them that always made my heart ache (in a good way) which is happening even more with Steven Universe. The Marcy and Simon episodes always got me, the plot was just way too amazing... and then they kind of ruined it once she left.

Back on topic though, am I the only one who really wants them to release a official soundtrack? I love the music in SU and often listen to playlists on youtube, but to have the official quality would be great

I've been wondering this too, I also want to see mash ups between songs that would overlay well together, or like the wailing stone song and the lapis song overlayed into one song
