Let's discuss the NY Toy Fair

The MyFroggyStuff video shows a Pinkie Pie seapony in the background in a shell that looks like a smaller version on the G1 ones. I already wanted the pearly/translucent sea ponies but if they come with the shells I'll want them even more! It's a non pearly version with the shell but hopefully all version will have shells. The babies are cute too!

Haha wow, the TAF' symbols are really just their own faces? Figures our first Big Mac won't even have his cutie mark.

Well the good thing is we can at least remove the character prints on the one side to have normal ponies.. at least I hope we can

I LOVE some of the new EqG mini's I haven't bought any of those yet but there's definitely one i've seen i will be getting *points to avatar*.

Also the Daring do set looks adorable. I Love that Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer are in trousers Makes a nice change to all the skirts lol

About the baby sea ponies sticking to things, I saw some close-up pics and it looks like their seashell homes have a little suction cup on them.  So I imagine that's the part you stick to the smooth surface.

Soarin Big Mac!!!! Boy brushables Pegasus first ever!!!! I cannot believe we are getting brushable boys buying atleast 2 of each!

Well we did finally get a brushable Shining Armor already in the family pack with his wife and baby. But he was a unicorn and now we have a earth pony and a pegasus male too. All the main pony species have males now!

Oh boy did Hasbro DELIVER this year!

I really hate going onto that "certain website" and giving them even more page views but I just had to! Hasbro really is going all out with this movie, they had to dedicate 2 articles to licensed merchandise! One with regular MLP and one with movie MLP! IdleHands also did a walkthrough video seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RKFskrFt8I and we got to know two of plot points:

*The mane 6 will be celebrated at a "Friendship Festival" in the beginning of the movie taking place in Canterlot, which is where the conflict starts

*Twilight and Spike get a song called "We Got This"

The Twilight doll sounds nothing like her  but strangely it sounds like...Jenny from Friendship is Witchcraft doing the voice? Hmm.

That Twilight robot doll better have Tara Strong coming out of that mouth. For 130 bucks a pop they BETTER have gotten her.

Tempest is getting a... IDK what it is but i want it!!! (she's already made it onto my favorite character list).

Well ok at first it looks like a jet, but upon closer inspection it appears to be some type of land vehicle. Like something out of F-Zero or even Star Wars.

A few more updates from That Site;

-Aurora and Diamond Select have dropped their license and will no longer be making MLP products. This means the Trixie and Vinyl banks will be cancelled. The article I read speculated that Hasbro is trying to cut down on using other companies to produce MLP stuff, and is trying to produce more themselves.

-MLP cookies will be coming! Very exciting. They will apparently be available at TRU, Ross and Burlington.

-Starlight Glimmer will be getting a new pose rerelease, in what looks to be the same line as the Fluttershy, Twilight and Rainbow with their gala dresses (not sure what outfit she's wearing, though). Her box also has the movie logo, which may or may not indicate that she will be in the movie.

Hmmm so has Starlight pretty much officially replaced Twilight as part of the main 6? Even Sunset didn't get as many pony releases as Starlight so far I believe... so is it the main 7 now instead of the 6 or still the 6 plus one princess ?

Ohhhhh nice.  Looks like I can completely avoid the MLP aisle for the next few years!
