Funko Princess Luna & Celestia pre-order @ Hot Topic! Arriving November

I'm happy to help out 8 international peeps that are too impatient to wait for the overseas release 6 weeks after Hot Topic (I assume there will be one as there have been with all the rest)

I wish it was weeks, that would be easy to wait, but it's usually 6-9 months. Personally I did order one of each, because of -25% on prices and -50% on international shipping, which made it worth it.

Oh that is good to hear that international shipping is discounted right now! That is what really makes it hard.  T

I wouldn't be willing to wait this time either, considering how many times the Hot Topic site keeps crashing (on these two items) I think they will be selling better than any previous Funko...

Oh my god I NEED that glitter Luna!!  She's so gorgeous! Ugh, I'm sure she'll end up costing a fortune though...

I'm really glad they made the edge of her mane transparent in the regular release! Such a nice touch. I wonder how tall these gals will be compared to the regular pony Funkos.

  I really wish they'd fix the issue with pegasi cutie marks disappearing around onto their butts. It goes on their flank! Not their rear end!

That aside...they look good! I think Luna looks better; Celestia's backwards facing eye really does nothing for her xD I hope the final products have slightly smaller eyes, too.

I think I'll pre-order both when they show up here, if I can find a reliable source for them and one that's cheap enough for me to overlook Funko's dodgy quality control (if only the real ones were even half as cleanly painted and glued as their prototypes xD )

Cool! Something looks a little off about Celestia to me though, like her wings or legs aren't quite long enough. She still looks nice. I wonder if her glitter will be clear or milky like Rarity. Luna looks great. That glitter of her is awesome.

Is hot cash coming up? I'm wondering whether I should order today w/ the 25% off or wait?

I don't think Hot Cash is happening. The last time I went to HT and bought something, I was given a $10 off $40 coupon that ends on November 2nd.  So even if they did Hot Cash, it wouldn't be usable for a while.

I really hope that they are somewhat taller than the other ponies, but I won't hold my breath considering the price. Still, I think they are pretty awesome- I love that Luna has a see-through tail/mane, I wish they had done that with Celestia !!!

One thing I don't understand, they made DJ Pon-3 with yellowish white, Rarity with grayish white, but Celestia isn't pinkish white like she should be.

These are the first Funkos I may consider getting!  I like the look of these, and they are two of my favorite characters

Than i found out Hot Topic doesn't let you use paypal outside of the USA.

That's weird that they won't take paypal. Maybe it has to do with some of Paypal's draconian policies.

I just noticed that some people are already pre-selling them on ebay, and there are lots of bidders! Seriously people can be so stupid sometimes...
