Funko Vinyl Collectibles Thread (Applejack and Big Mac preorders!)

I know some of this info came from a facebook chat with someone from Funko- so technically rumor.  HOWEVER - unlike MGA, Mattel or Hasbro-  Funko is a REALLY really small company- so the development staff person would know what was going on.   

What I'm dying for is for September to come-  it may be that Hot Topic reveals some new ponies as well ... (hopefully Octavia and DJ)

Where was all the upcoming information "confirmed"? Was it just the person on the development staff chatting off the record? Or was there a post on it all somewhere?

Also: yay for AJ and Big Mac!

Omg major yay for AJ and Big Mac!! Am I the only one not really looking forward to Octavia and dj, I mean I'm excited for more ponies, but these two aren't really favs of mine.

Yes times infinity! I know they both are going to be supper nice! Big Mac with that dark red color and giant green apple, sparkly version will look so awesome too! And for princess Luna with accurate colors and beautiful flowing mane and tail! OMG can't wait!

  she might look like the pony with the EQG doll I have a feeling she can be made like that but at a larger scale ofcourse

I'm interested to see Luna and Big Mac.  I have been holding off on getting these because I'm not a fan of the characters they have put out so we'll see.  I'm also not a super huge fan of G4's either so will wait and see what Luna or Big Mac look like.

Glitter Spitfire figure, will more than likely come once she is released in Hot Topic you know what I found interesting, is if you look at the Dr. Hooves you will notice his clothes are not in glitter, so what I'm thinking is this trend will continue, meaning the only parts of Spitfire that will be glitter are her wings, nose, and ears did anyone else notice this?

I do love the Funkos- but the smudges, glue streaks and weirdo eyes are irritating.  Also- the display boxes are not in great shape.  You can't see it in a picture, but the cello is scratched and hazed from rough handling.

I think they will look better with some re-painted eyes, and a bit cleaned up.  I got a few extras of her because she would actually make a really good custom unicorn base...

Bon Bon/Sweetie Drops isn't much better quality-wise,  most have smudges and dark glue streaks on them.  This one had okay eyes (slightly off) but a big yellow glue streak on her tail.

Spitfire is so cute shape-wise- but has the most problems of them all.  I still got her however because she is still pretty cool- and I think that getting the smudges off and re-painting her eyes will do wonders.  Plus, the mold will be a good base for Soarin and Dash!

Aww man! I LOVE glow in the dark toys, but I really am not a Dr.Whooves fan and I don't like the figure because I have never liked ponies in clothes He's been the only Funko figure so far I really haven't wanted. But....glow in the dark!
