Hi there again! Eh sorry for all the lame questions but how would you all go about inserting/ placing wire wings on a g4? Do you melt a tiny hole and glue in...or? I am scared of just gluing them on top, afraid it will look messy and unfinished and less stable?.. The person getting this is not a "fragile" handler.
I really dont want to add sculpting on top on this pony either, I think it'd look too heavy.

Also does it look better/ more clean to put the curled wire up, or leave it on the underside?
If you have used these type of wings ( wire bends) any help or pictures would be a huge help!

Hi there I was curious if someone is no longer a member but was, do they still have a record on the bad trader list?

And does the trades have to be ponies? Or also someone on ebay/here  who also deals in ponies, or?
 I been having some issues with a past member and I really am not sure what to do, but not sure they were ever even on it.
I originally thought it was a mistake.  Now I am starting to think there was reasons  I should of took the red flag
people had with them here as well...a red flag. Feel really stupid because I don't know if they are just that disorganized
or actually intentionally not fufilling things because they have an issue.

I don't know what to do about it though since I am not sure even if they weren't that I'd want to file anything against them,
 but I wonder if there is a backlog of people who used to be on it because now I am curious if they were.  Thank you!

...someone on etsy  sold the g1 babies they had for hold for me...they were on hold less then 8 hours.
 I was gonna 'buy them now' but the seller had said she would hold them while I shopped her other baits.
It was fine and they were on hold.In a matter of minutes I said yes I like to add other lot.


This morning I come on to pay her. A cringe of fear hits me as I see its not available.
I get a mail from her...  on accident  when she added the other baits to my order, she took them off
hold and someone insta purchased.
5 g1 baity babies  for 8ish bucks...one wasnt even really baity. *cries*


so I made some angry bids on a ton of baity baby ponies  on ebay
I cant say it was smart but I did it LOL.
...I am sure I won't win those either.... I am SO  frustrated.  >.< ;;;
 


I was about in tears, I should of just bought it now and not risked it accidently
being took off hold for like, 5 minutes or whatever it was when she made the mistake...
if I had known that was possible I no way would of waited  =(



I'm not mad at the seller but I just am depressed as hell,

I been researching several facets  but I was dying to know what UNUSUAL tools do you use to make your work special?

-Heat guns, rhinestone/stuff heat guns, tools that puncture ponies.-


Do any of you use heat guns/embossing tools? How did it work out?
Tales of woe with melting?  What kind has been the best for the price?
 Does this tool last for years, months, decades??
Does this tool melt glitter, eyes, hair, etc and at what temp?
How do you know if your gun is too hot- does your machine have a sensor?
What do you use to make holes and was it worth the price?
Do brad guns work on ponies? How do you affix your gems or crystals/rhinestones?
Which style of jewels are your favorite (pictures would really help on this one )


-Tattoo/Inked/Glow/Sand/Glitter -


  Can you tattoo on ponies,  or use tattoo  ink especially ones with uv or special properties?
When sealed, does it still glow/have special properties? Does the ink bleed?
Are henna tattoos effective on ponies? How do you decide your markings on henna tattoos?
 and how to place them, what do you look at for inspiration?
 India ink on ponies- do you dilute it, can you get anything other then black for colors, what tool do you use to apply it?
Does it bleed/run over time? Can it be removed at all?
What glow paints work or don't work? Is sand good to use of does it make it muddy? Techniques?
Temporary images, rubs, watercolors, oil paints? Glitter and or faux effects you've used?


-Clayworking-
The best and worst of all the brands, is all over but...I have some specifics.
which ones have the best liquid or translucent clay - for clarity, for liquid (say fishbowl) effects,
 for clay food, for wings (are certain ones too light, fragile, dense, breakable).
Any tutorials on clothing or minis you've made for your customs? Would you change anything now?


What weird things have you done that came out INSANE- cool or really really awful?
What was your favorite mediums to use? Which were the worst? Whats somethng you would NEVER do again?
And finally, what is your favorite 'creative' use of a material (yours or someone elses)?

I am an older collector, lost a lot when my mom bought my ponies off me for 50$...
and sold off a bunch before I knew it for basically nothing at a garage sale... I was a stupid teenager!! Haha.

Got back into ponies when I spotted a pretty g3... then got into going to the store back when Target was
making g3 exclusives here in the U.S. had the remainder of my ponies sent out from my old house about 7 months ago,
along with a few of my g1's I had  alreadybrought when I moved out to Oregon from MI...several years ago?

Working on a few customs but haven't 'finished' any yet...gotta get hair/ rehairing tool
Been adding to my g3 and g1 collections and customs collections as I can...and of course g4's =)  
Haven't posted my collection up but hopefully shall be doing so soon =)

My favorite pony combos include rainbows and unicorns... with raised or forward facing heads go figure!
My least favorite things are the shy pose and clashing colors in hair/body (see light purple and yellow).
I do not collect G2's in general...but I reserve the right to change my mind later LOL!
My favorite to collect is customs! =)
