Off Topic / Re: Who Here Reads Web Comics?
« on: June 11, 2014, 05:36:45 AM »
There's one I really liked called Shadowbinders but I've learned I don't do well keeping up with webcomics.
Thank you for liking it!  This makes my day!

Webcomics are hard for readers and creators.  Each of those pages takes us hours to do and it comes out at a slow trickle.   We are trying to update more often.  There are so many great webcomics out there--something for everyone I think.

Thank you again for reading and liking it!  We will be having volume 2 out this fall if you prefer it in one chunk.

If you like webcomics please check out Shadowbinders.com.  Steampunk, fantasy, Romantic comedy.

Lately I have seen a Popple, Strawberry Shortcake Hasbro doll, Dream Glow Barbie, Care Bear playset and a fraggle.  I have seen all kinds of stuff at our Goodwill though.

On a side note, I am really jealous of all the carded Princess of Power dolls!!!

Off Topic / Re: Howabout a comic recommendation thread?
« on: April 11, 2013, 10:26:45 AM »
I just saw this thread (usually on the Monster High threads) and I wanted to offer up my webcomic Shadowbinders as something you may want to check out.  My husband and I do this together.   It is a steampunk/fantasy and romantic comedy comic.   Girl from our world (my avatar) inherits a ring that transports her to the steamfantasy world of Belatyr where she meets an egocentric young mage and his crew....there is a bad plot stirring and a mystery about what the "shadows" are.   Please check us out at http://shadowbinders.keenspot.com/  We are 2.5 years along and at about 264 pages.

We are just getting ready to hit some major action in the next chapter too.  So please take a look!

How do you know if your store is participating?  I typed in our zip and our store comes up, but there is no information about time, date or anything?

I am proud of the webcomic I do with my husband and all the merch I sew to sell for it.  Oh and I am proud that I lost 5 pounds.

That is an awesome room!!!

Today my daughter sold a bunch of her old toys  and then went "shopping."  I had found the Werecat sisters in Lancaster this past weekend.  We had a Venus and the CAM gargoyle/vampire boy set.  So she bought them from me with her money (plus she owed me some)   She is happily playing right now.
