Such a beautiful-looking package, Marigold!  I think as long as my partner isn't the person who wrapped everything in skulls, I'll be fine. And even if my partner IS that person, I am sure I will still be happy with what's inside.

Mad, I doubt I would mistake you for a boy, even if you had short hair and no makeup.  Then again, seeing as how we've never met in person, you never know, lol.  But you are pretty on the inside even if you don't feel like it on the outside. 

Do you like Halloween?

That's a complicated one for me.  Without going into all the "gory" details, it's not on my preferred list of holidays.  But I'm not one of those "let's avoid it altogether" Christians, either.  As far as I'm concerned, God created pumpkins, bats, and black cats.  So I'm cool with those.  He didn't invent candy or dressing up, but those aren't inherently evil in and of themselves.  I mean, an excess of candy isn't good for anyone, but everything in moderation, right? We let the boys go trick-or-treating, but they can't wear anything disgusting or evil.  Certain classical movie monsters are acceptable like Dracula, Frankenstein, etc. or villains such as Darth Vader.  Last year they were a fighter pilot and a wizard.  We also like handing out treats because, hey, what better time of year to get to know your neighbours?

I have a few more things wrapped up special that are a bit of a theme but I want them to be a surprise. 

I am really getting excited to see everyone's themes and wrapping.   I love everything posted so far.

LOL, Cub... I had a feeling it was you with the skull wrapping, but I couldn't remember for sure and was too lazy to meander back through the thread to find out. 


Oh my goodness, that reminds me... I can't stand costume parties.  I always have these grandiose ideas but can never seem to pull them off.  One year my husband and I went as a pair of blue jeans.  We both wore blue.  He wore a nametag that said "Hi, I'm Gene," and I wore one that said, "Hi, I'm Jeanne."  Um.  Yeah.  It wasn't exactly a screaming success (unless, of course, you count the guests who screamed and ran away over our awful excuses for costumes).

Thanks, but it was a lame execution.  That, and it wasn't even my own idea.  I looked online for inspiration.

Sternenstaub, you are so cute.  I have managed to restrain myself fairly well, but I am so excited... last week I came across one of my partner's ponies that I had been looking for but hadn't been able to find for a decent price.  She was in a bag of ponies I got for next to nothing from a friend of mine who works in a local charity shop.  I can tell you with certainty she isn't Rapunzel, but my-oh-my, was her hair "tangled!"  It took me years and years to comb it all out.  Right now she is wrapped up like a mummy and hanging out like a bat on my dish drying rack (aka. upside-down).  So happy to be able to include this wanted pony as a nearly-free extra.

Lochness, I feel exactly the same about Halloween And actually my church always had a party kind of an alternative to Halloween. We would have games, pinatas, and Bible based stuff. It was really fun! And that's so lucky you found an awesome pony for next to nothing!!

Yeah, I was so stoked about that pony, especially when I had such a hard time tracking it down on eBay or the arena and then, voila, there it is in the almost free bag of ponies.    Granted, we'll have to see how her hair turns out after her spa treatment.  After all that work getting the knots out, her hair was beginning to resemble a Perfume Puff pony.  I conditioned it three times altogether and am anxious to see how it looks in the morning.

Tea or coffee: I like both, but I prefer tea! I prefer fruity teas, especially blackberry and blackcurrant. Oh, and rose.

Homemade soaps or candles? I love both candles and nice soaps and love anything homemade with love! DIY stuff is best stuff!

Definitely more of a coffee drinker, but I am not at all against trying new teas. I like the kinds that are supposed to relax you.

Homemade soap would be cool! We'd definitely use it. Candles....NO. I'm TERRIFIED of fire. My mom used to light candles all the time but stopped because me me. I'd blow them out as soon as she lit them, heh....

Got some more extras today. My box is almost finished.
