So I was looking through my collection, and I noticed some spots on Baby Noddins (which unfortunately, don't show up the best in photos - there's two near her symbol and one behind her eye). They have tiny dark centers with a wide (but much fainter) dark zone around them. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI've read about these sort of spots on ponies online, but I don't know what causes it or the best solution is to these nowadays. I've got a couple other ponies (and one stamp) that have had similar spots since I got them, but I've never tried treating them. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThen there's this purple fakie, who (in addition to always being very sticky/tacky) had no marks when I first got it ten years ago, but is now on its way to becoming a pinto. I washed it with some dish soap, which only got rid of some of the stickiness and didn't do anything to the marks. I don't know if this is the same problem or not. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hello! It's been so long since I posted here that my previous sales thread got locked. However, I've still got a number of ponies (and other toys) to sell. They are all fairly clean for the most part (they were cleaned with a Magic Eraser at the very least), and most (if not all of them) are thrift store buys, so I have no knowledge of what sort of households they came from. I'm willing to ship internationally and I only accept Paypal.

Hello,
I was in a local toy store in my town today, and they had a bin filled with tiny, unmarked bags of mixed LEGO pieces, each for sale for about $2. What caught my eye was that some of the bags contained what looked like miniature G4 ponies, each one about the size of a blind bag pony, with detachable manes and tails and other LEGO pieces. However, the ponies had a decidedly bootleg look to them; there was a pegasus Applejack, a purple Rarity, and there was even a brown unicorn.
Are these a new occurrence, or have they been around for a while and they've just evaded my notice up until now?

I got a Baby Surprise in a surprisingly high-quality bait lot a few months ago. I think she's Mexican -- she has a head like Baby Blossom and there's no writing under her hooves. She has a faint pink stain on her right side, a slight head-body mismatch, there's a little "wart" on her left hindleg and if she is a Mexican variant, I think her mane was cut as well. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginDid I ID her correctly, and much would she be worth, given these flaws? I moved about a month ago, and around that time, I ordered a pony from a seller on Etsy. Unfortunately, I was staying at my parents' house while my things were being moved into my new place, and since I didn't have the key to my new mailbox yet, I asked for the package to be sent to my parents' address.
Unfortunately, for some reason the post office put a sticker inside my parents' mailbox stating that all mail addressed to me was to be forwarded, but apparently there was no indication of where it was supposed to be forwarded, so the package ended up getting returned to the seller. (This problem has been resolved now.)
However, not only has the seller failed to respond to any of my messages (either via Etsy's message system or by email), but he/she seems to have closed his/her shop (I get a "page not found" error whenever I click on the shop's name). I've contacted the post office (they said there's nothing they could do) and Etsy (they keep saying that I should get in touch with the seller, even though I've mentioned multiple times that the seller hasn't responded to me).
Is there anything I can do about this, or should I just give up at this point?

I recently bought a small lot of ponies that were in surprisingly good condition for being labeled a bait lot. Baby North Star was among them, and she's in nice shape except for a bit of tail rust, some paint rubbing on her tooth, and these strange orange-brown spots on her right side: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI'm not sure what these spots could be. Since she does have tail rust, my first thought was that the spots might be caused by rust as well, but I'm not 100% certain. Anyone else have any ideas?

I'm moving to a nearby town this month, so this week, I've tried to take advantage of every day I'm still living in this comparatively larger city. Yesterday I took my bike on a long, scenic ride along the beach, and on my way back, I visited all the thrift stores in my path. I haven't always had much luck at these stores, but since this was one of my last days here, I figured I might as well make the most out of it. One of the first thrift stores I visited had a McDonalds G2 pony in one bag of toys and a retro re-release G1 Minty in another, but I didn't buy either bag. In the last store I visited, however, I found a bag that had a couple of ponies in it that made me pause for a moment. Lily Lightly was in there, as well as an adorable light blue Remco unipeg fakie and a baby Lanard. I could only see the back end of another larger pony that was pinkish and had cherries on it and seemed to be in the Tootsie pose. Since I'm planning to donate a CPK/Tootsie fakie I've been trying to get rid of for a couple of years now to a thrift store, my first thought was "Another CPK/Tootsie fakie? No way am I going to buy this bag of cute fakies just to get stuck with one of THOSE again." Then I took a closer look and noticed the familiar "Hong Kong" on the base of one of its hooves, then shifted the bag's contents around until I could see its head, and discovered that not only was it a genuine MLP, but it was Cherries Jubilee! Of course, I ended up buying the bag after that (it didn't hurt that it was also 50% off). Here's who I ended up taking home with me: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe yellow G3 fakie is unmarked, and may be one of the cheapest ones I've ever gotten. Her hair is thin and slick, and the plastic in her body is so thin that in one spot, it's practically translucent! She might make good custom fodder, perhaps. The pink Lanard fakie is adorable, and looks almost like she's just been taken out of her packaging: her mane and tail are still held to her legs with tiny rubber bands, her hair is carefully braided and she's wearing two tiny barrettes. The unmarked Remco fakie's mane is immaculately braided, and it's tied with the same band as the kind on the Lanard fakie. Is this the way these fakies were sold, with their manes "pre-braided"? I've seen other fakies sold like this. Lily Lightly's light-up mechanism still works, and she's in great condition except for some wild, slightly matted hair (which I'm currently conditioning) as well as a tiny bit of mysterious sticky stuff on her dress that I intend to hit with Goo Gone when I have access to it. I don't think I'll be keeping her, but hopefully there's someone here who might be able to give her a home. CJ's hair is okay, but her body has a lot of spots and stains. I may have to pop her head off, since there seems to be something dark and splotchy inside her. All in all, it was the best pony haul I've had in this city in a long time. It wasn't a huge find, but it was still nice to find a G1 as well as a couple of adorable fakies. It made one of my last thrift store expeditions a great one.

I figured I should post this list here instead of letting it sit in the first post of my sales thread. These are the ponies I'm currently hoping to get (all G1). I don't mind minor flaws that can easily be fixed or overlooked, like marker stains, discolored spots, slightly faded manes, etc. Baby WigglesMoon Jumper (Windy Wing) Baby Graffiti Petite Ponies (any of the Pretty Pony Parade ones) Here's a link to my sales thread, in case there are any ponies there that you might like to trade for.

One of my occasional trips to a nearby thrift-store-rich town ended in triumph yesterday. In the toy section of one of the stores I visit on a regular visit, I saw a plastic bag with a very familiar blue and yellow shape inside it, and my mental reaction was pretty much the first line from that one fish in Finding Nemo ("BUBBLLLLLLLES!!!"). As it turned out, Baby Dibbles was also inside (with hair that's still pink!), along with Star Catcher and a non-MLP unicorn beanie. Sure, my pony shelves are nearly filled to capacity, but doggone it, I've never had Bubbles before and Dibbles was just too adorable to leave behind. Before cleaning (notice that Dibbles has a tiny braid in her hair): visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAfter cleaning (Star Catcher's hair still needs some work): visitors can't see pics , please register or login

In my online pony-related travels, I've seen a handful of Celestia and Luna customs made out of G1 ponies, yet curiously, I've never seen one made out of a Sweetheart Sister pony.
I'm honestly surprised by this, since I'd think one of these G1s would be perfect for a custom like this, with their delicate builds and elegant appearances that are so different than the standard look of that generation. True, the horn and wings would be a bit challenging, but I've seen some custom artists pull off far more challenging "pony modifications" than that.
So are there seriously no Luna or Celestia Sweetheart Sister customs out there, or have I just managed to overlook them?
