I ordered a couple too, one for me and one for a Canadian friend. It's weird to me that Hallmark.com doesn't ship international, the Hallmark stores in Canada are doing better than the ones in the US...

It's definitely weird, especially since the Canadian Hallmark site doesn't sell anything on it. I'm not so sure the Canadian stores are doing well either. I live in a big city and all the Hallmarks have closed except for 3 or 4 and there's only 1 in the south side, the others are all in the north west quadrant. I live in the deep south so it takes me 45 min to get up to those stores (only 20min to the south-ish store but it's in a super busy mall and they're always sold out). It's super frustrating. I just want RB itty bittys and they don't make them easy to get

That sounds like my area-  all of the local Hallmark stores closed and the closest one is PAST the mall, a 30m or longer drive south.  They are nice and will save things for me, but that is quite a treck round trip and there is often traffic...

But my friend in Toronto has 3 stores within easy driving distance and they seem to have received all of the Rainbow Brite loot first.  I suspect they will eventually have Shy Violet available someway to Canada, but it would be terrible if she sold out...

My local Hallmark closed too and the nearest one was at least a couple of hours away if not more.  The Rainbow Brite toys are growing on me even though I don't have any yet.

Given how fast she sold out, I bet they are going to be more willing to risk a wider release now...

Kinda like the very first "limited edition online exclusive" characters. They were eventually released with minor changes later on.  I have a feeling the limited edition online exclusive releases are to test the market before ordering a bunch for the stores...

Hey, I've actually got something to post here! All 3 of my local hallmarks have the rainbow brite stuff. They had a giant itty-bitty (now thats an oximoron for ya lol) for $120! I can do pickups if you have a paypal, just bug me if there is a character you can't find. Like I said, I've got 3 stores near me xD I keep checking them for nemo goodies so its no problem. I actually really want this starlite plush in the picture! I wish I could help everyone out with shy violet but they aren't sold in stores.

If you live in the US, most of the stuff is in stock at the Hallmark.com store. I didn't think that shipping was particularly high (I've ordered everything through the web store)
