About 10 years ago I had heard a rumor of a cp prototype sundance.. Does anyone remember hearing of her? It was a very long time ago and up until now I thought it was just another rumor.

Ok everyone, So I have asked the seller for information about the pony..
She says she bought the pony from a woman in England around 17 or 18 years ago at a my little pony convention.
She specifies that she was just a very young teenager at that point and she states that she is 31 years old now. That puts the time when she bought the pony around the year 1997.

I did some research and the only leaflet I find with sundance in collectors pose is the one below.. Second release of megan and sundance in the UK.

Interesting.... there weren't any proper conventions in the UK at that point. There were 'meets' but were pretty much only attended by collectors in the community, as far as I was aware. Perhaps someone who was around at that point might remember more (I didn't come on to the scene until 2000, but I am still friends with people who were around before then).

That would be great lg if you can ask anyone from around that time. The first uk ponycom was in 2004. I think we are looking for meets held in the years 1997-2000
She was purchased according to the seller around this time frame.

I don't know if it'll help but I asked a great friend of mine (and huge collector) if she had heard about her and she thinks she saw one on ebay around 15 years ago.

An interesting observation. The first Uk leaflet shows sundance without a forlock and in shy pose while the second release leaflet shows her with a forlock and in collector pose.

It will make sense since I think only collectors would have used ebay at that time.

The first International My Little Pony Convention was held in 2004. I know there were plenty of "meets" before the convention existed though.
