I love the Jem pony but I'm not going to spend all my gems getting more crafting stuff. I wish there was a way to get her that didn't rely on the costume crafting. I skipped the Rainbow Dash Commander Hurricane costume because I didn't have enough stuff for her outfit.

I share everyone's opinion that costume quests are unobtainable nonsense, but I did have enough materials sitting around to put a horse head mask on Granny Smith, so this update wasn't a total waste.

No problem.  I found the codes in a FB reply saying they didn't work, but they worked fine for me.  20 gems is always a welcome bonus!  Plus they added crafting materials to a few of the balloon pop games (the free one and the clear sky one at least, haven't played any others yet today). 

Is today's costume up yet?  I had to reboot my phone yesterday to get Rarity to appear and to fix timer glitches all over the place.

My game still has Rarity's  costume up but my costumes don't change until the afternoon.  I did get 4 buttons from the ball bounce challenge but I'll still never be able to make all the costumes. Both codes worked for me too.

I have 25 microphones now. Still a long way to the Countess. I'm slowly making progress in the Crystal Empire but am having trouble getting the right kind of shards

Anyone else having trouble with the removing small black crystals quest in the Crystal Empire?  I made the mistake of going clearing happy when I first unlocked the CE, and cleared everything out when I brightened the dark areas.  Now I'm stuck on this quest, only have gotten 2 out of the 5 necessary black crystals (none at all in at least a week and a half!) I don't want to use gems to skip it, but so far they're not really coming back, only the wrong ones (bigger ones or the ones that need gems to clear)

  I did the same , every 2 days one would appear, when you clicked on the quest , it would actually take you to where the small crystal is located , i don't think you removed this type of crystals anyway, i believe is how the quests are designed , to take time
same thing later with the tasks for the mane 6 , you have to start the quest at the CE location and end it there, otherwise it won't count .

I'm still waiting on the last jacket for the last Rara Pony, these quests are just created with all that wait time in them.

Thank you for the tip!  I clicked on "go" and it took me to one hidden crystal that I would have never seen!  (it was behind a bunch of trees.)
I hear you on the taking time part!  I still don't have Rara..haha Getting there though!

I've ... sorta given up on getting these bonus ponies. :/ I don't have hundreds of crafting items or gems to get the costumes with, which is a shame. I really like Sailor Moon Pony and Jem Pony much more than many of the others we get in the shops!!

Thanks Bekuno, but the shards only count if I collect them in the Crystal Empire.
