I had to pay 4 gems to avoid  buying another Rodeo thingy ,
I have tons in my Inventory but the trick of placing one did not work this time

Skeen, same for me! I'm grateful though, because I NEED those 20 hours to win the pony in most cases! Luckily for me, I only needed two "rounds" (at 5 tries apiece, so 10 tries total) to get my 30k! Glad to have a pony this week instead of a furniture piece!

I'm dissapointed that you need snowglobes to open the Crystal Empire. At 50 gems a play they should make sure you get a pony but knowing Gameloft it's probably full of useless decorations. No update on Andriod yet.

I won the pony in the Wed challenge.

That's EXACTLY how I feel too! At 50 gems a pop, I know I SHOULD have a higher chance to win a pony... but I probably won't! So I'll be sitting this one out until they have a discount or something!

I could have announced the snowglobe process awhile ago, as it broke on reddit, but I wanted to be 100% on if it was the mechanic for this update.

The android update has not yet reached my phone despite the play store having the updated images (I checked for a manual update but no dice). Since I don't have it I can't confirm, but reddit folk are claiming the 50 gem pop is a limited thing with a timer?

Status update in my game:
I won the solo challenge pony
I have six microphones (this will take forever)
Currently on the dandelions / pizza quest
I'm doing my best to win the EQG dance game every week (and you should too because you can get a ton of ponies!)
I bought the orange stand so Svengallop has a chance to get microphones
My code is 73166 for anyone who doesn't have me! User is Emerald Cookie, muffins is my icon.

50 gem pop does have a seven day timer but who knows what the cost will be then, or if the pop game itself will even be a permanent thing.

21 show globes down, 129 to go.

Oh, and the glitch fixed itself, my balloon shop paid me my gems today

I'm with you on this!  I tried it, and it didn't work for me either. I'm not able to skip this quest just yet either, as I am saving for Sprinkle Stripe and I think Apple Rose (who we need to get items).  It'll have to wait till later.

I now have 11 microphones. Still a long way to go.

I haven't even started trying to get microphones.  I'm still leveling up enough ponies to take over for the Mane 6 when I pull them off jobs.  Plus since the update I'm doing a ton of quests I should have received a long time ago but didn't.  Play Balloon Pop 10 times and gather Loyalty shards?  Sure! 

I like the solo event, play ball bounce 50x, because I need to level up some ponies and this is a good motivator to do it.  20 more to go.  Good thing I had so many ponies I was too lazy to play with! 

50 snowglobes, so 1/3 there! 

EDIT - 76 snow globes, 1/2 there yay!

Hoping the update comes to android soon. But the last update thing is taking so long. I hate that the indicator says I have a high chance for an item, but I still only get something once every 6 or 7 times. Luckily I have Mr. Breezy, so I have had twice the chances to get microphones. It still going to take forever.

Gave in to the urge to play the new balloon pop - and I won a baby pony!  That completely satisfied my curiosity so my remaining gems are safe now.

However. This update has re-set my SAA quest log!  I had completed ALL the quests, now they are back. Grrrr...

I noticed that too - It didn't reset ALL my quests, but I got some "old" quests, like "play with Cheerilee three times!" even though she's maxed out... So they were easy to skip past on my iPad, but my iPhone account is slowly working through them. Or are they just - random new quests using old ponies, completely unrelated to the Crystal Kingdom questline!?

I noticed that too - It didn't reset ALL my quests, but I got some "old" quests, like "play with Cheerilee three times!" even though she's maxed out... :

I noticed this too, and find it annoying that I have to use gems to skip past it since Cheerilee is already maxed out on stars..
