Man I have big fingers, fat fingered twice today ughh  ,lost 26 gems  ,10 when I pushed somehow to pay 10 gems to play the dance game , then 14 when collecting from the shops and somehow fat fingered the pay to collect again so tricky how you loose the gems    then another 2 when selecting the dress for the Eqg, wanted to select the 2nd option and pay just coins, and my finger again pushed too close to the gems option and 2 more gone

I didn't have  internet access when the last event ended... so i have no idea where i placed. I wwas in the top 20 for most of the event. I cant imagine i didn't place at all.... so no prizes if you aren't connected. Good to know.

amending my last statement. when i turned it off and started again, i got my new pony. woot!! #13

i also discovered that the "send gift" to friends button, is not for the crystal heart. what is it for? what am i giving people?
now i've started going to everyone's place and leaving a treasure box too.
its so weird when i played the first time around, i signed up as a 12 year old so the friend code thing was unavailable and the princesses gave me the hearts.

Aaaargh the "Select" button on the EQG dance game is so very similar to the "Skip button  There goes 13 gems. Why is there no "are you sure" button when spending gems? I'm really not racking them up very quickly, either.

yeah it takes so much longer to get them in this game unless you buy them.
some other games i play i can get up to 100 runes (equivalent to gems) in a week.

Has anyone gotten the VIP Rewards ponies?  The ones unlocked when you level up your VIP Status by in-app purchases?

Do those ponies still cost Gems to get from the store once they are unlocked?  If so, how much are they in gems?

I got Studious Delegate for free without having to pay extra gems. Gleeful Clownspony costs 200 extra gems and unicorn painter costs 400

I do not plan on it ever. I was just curious. It irks me greatly that GL keeps putting in so much that can only be accessed with in-app purchases.

Glad I could help. I don't think the ponies should cost extra gems though. Did anyone else's game update today? My new game picture is the Mane 6 and Cheese Sandwich and I got two more free ponies for being at VIP level 7, the public works pony and another one.

Yeah it updated for me too.  No new stuff for me.  But with lyrica being on sale and the last one in a collection I needed she ended up only costing me 20 gems

it asked me if i wanted to update. i did say no as i was in the middle of the tirak quest and didn't want to lose access and have the time run out. finished it this afternoon, so i'll update it when i get home tonight.

how do you get more of the heart gems?
and when you send a gift to someone, what do they get?

Heart gems are sent as gifts to you by other players.  The gifts you send contain heart gems, but also on Occassion wheels for the minecraft game.

oh ok. i've been sending gift and going to the others game and depositing the treasure chest when i can. wasn't sure if they were different or not.

So. Thoughts on the new Party Planning mini-event?

Looks like only specific Ponyville shops give you keys (and party points). Also tapping on a ? icon above a pony AND clearing stuff (trees, busges, rocks, roots, etc) will give you keys. (I JUST cleared out ALL the new space in PV too!  Should have waited another day!)

You use the keys to open party chests for party supplies. But its totally random. Also there are party quests now to complete.

Party points look to be like with the tree of friendship mini-game where the whole group of users is contributing.
