I can't seem to find it :< Do they appear somewhere different now? When I played before they used to sit by the library

They tend to fall where you are facing when you log in.  I have noticed on occasion they won't fall until you go to your friends list and send some gifts yourself.  Like it needs to be triggered.  Try that, and you should see the chest fall wherever you're facing.  But if that doesn't work you may be suffering from a glitch.  Or else I have 2 Joe Nights as friends, but that doesn't seem likely.

Hmm, I've tried sending some chests myself and it doesn't seem to have triggered :/ I've tried moving things around to see if it's hiding and no good

I really, really don't think the people in charge of this really understand how the app works.

I really, really don't think the people in charge of this really understand how the app works.

  On the Iphone   , a Pony was the prize for the  151-300  , 7500 coins  for 71-150 and 400 coins for  1-70
I saw it too late and  was positioned on the 1-70  , then they ended it sooner than the 3 days  and I was given the 400 coins blah !!!

I haven't even been given that task yet.  What's going on?

As for it being pony or gem.  As someone who basically always wins these things, I can tell you that when the prize is to win a pony you already own, they make the prize gems.  Normally that means everything is the same only top prize is either 8 or 12 gems, but I wonder if they switched it around this time for people not playing for the pony to give the people playing for it a chance to play against people like me who always win?

Okay, so the weird "win third place for the pony" event is weird on my systems, too!! It says "1-70 win 4k coins, 71-150 win 800 coins, and 151-30 win Red Delicious." So uh, not only is the reward system backwards (hey, I'm fine with it, I suck at these games! ), but they forgot the 0 for 300, I would assume!!

And, stupid me, naturally the FIRST time I play the game, I get 700+ points on both accounts!! Which planted me squarely in 9th place on my iPad, and like 70th on my phone. So I think, okay, no biggie, I ALWAYS slide down like a dozen places over the course of the day! So I go about my business, and I check in on my iphone while I'm out. Good news - I'm down to 110th place on my phone! Hopefully by the end of the contest, I'll be safely in third to win the pony. (Which is odd, cuz I thought I HAD that pony!!) So I go to check how my iPad is doing - and it says the contest is over, and I managed to land in 100-something place, so I won the pony! WHAT?

So I go to check the game on my phone account - it's still going, and the contest has a day and 20 hours left or something! What the heck!? But hey, free pony, not gonna complain about that!

I still haven't been given the clear the skies challenge.  Normally it starts for me when I have 3 days of the longest challenge to go.  Which is today.  Why can't I play the clear the skies challenge.  Waaaah!
