I only have 460 sapphires but I haven't been able to battle the dragons every 3 hours due to work.

I appear to have the update with the dragon now, but I cannot see anything I can actually spend the sapphires on!

Have been working on getting some of the remaining ponies I can. Dancing game is quite helpful there and I have managed to win a couple in the events too.

ok so to win the dragon event pony you had to tap the dragons 1000 times. I'm at 867. I have managed to get a few of the sapphire items. I bought 2 shops 1 pony, and the bridge, all on sale of course.

I've managed to get 2 of the 3 balloon pop ponies.  This is a huge drain on my element shards.

I think I have 700 sapphires. My dragons usually want laughter shards.  I haven't spent any sapphires yet.

588 hits here. Got Lily Valley and the Bridge, and am now sitting on a stash of 320 sapphires I guess I won't be able to do anything with when the dragons go away in an hour.

I got the pony but it was close, only 1h was left !
I managed to buy the 3 shops so I lost only 5 sapphires (+ 90 at the beginning due to a bug)

Do you think they'll do the dragon event again later?  It seems like a shame not to use it again.

my final count was 927. So close but so far away. I lost 127 sapphires when the event ended.

It looks like the rightmost balloon pop has reverted to taking hearts. That's good.

ETA: Logged in today and the game gave me a gift of 10 gems and 100 hearts for my "patience." The thing is, it's so crashy overall I have no idea what I'm specifically being thanked for? Did anyone else get this?

I was just coming to post about the hearts and gems also. I got mine today.   I thought maybe it had something to do with the dragon event.

I had assumed I was getting the hearts and gems for going through customer service hell with them, haha.

Oh man, the dragon event was timed?! I thought it was just a new thing ... >.> I would have played it a lot more if I'd known LOL!

I didn't spend my sapphires on anything because a couple of hours before the dragon event ended I got an ad in my game that said 3 days left to fight the dragons so I thought they were going to extend the dragons event. I didn't even have 900 sapphires though so I don't think I could have got anything that cost sapphires.
