And if you use 'used toy (plastic pony)'?
That was a great suggestion but sadly didn't work:(

2
Nella- I put "small pink plastic unicorn toy" as the description; I also tried figure instead of toy when I got the restricted message the first time but got the same message.

Loa- it's going to France. I've shipped to France in the past with no problems but that was a long time ago.

3
Background: I usually don't ship internationally (due to the prices being insane) but had someone ask on ebay if I'd ship to France. I gave her a shipping quote and she agreed so I fixed the listing and she purchased it.

Today I went to the Post Office to get the paper customs label. The post master recommended I fill out the online one as she had several packages bounced back that had the paper labels. So I went to the USPS website and proceeded to do so but when I did it was flagged as a restricted item

"This item is flagged as a restricted item.
A restricted item does not necessarily mean you cannot export the good.

PCA - Consumer protection. Import control 1 (various regulations) ; R143: Products included in the scope of exclusions under article 2 of Decree 2010-166 (§ 2) and in the order of February 24, 2010 laying down the procedures for the implementation of Decree n° 2010-166, or products that are not toys as defined in the regulation (Article 2 of Decree 2010-166, § 1)."

It's a little plastic unicorn toy, a pet from the My Magic Genies line from the 80's. It's tiny, lightweight and doesn't have batteries etc. I'm at a loss what to do
. Part of me wants to turn on Ebay's global shipping option (where you just send the item to them and they deal with all of this) but that service charges a lot more than if you just pay at the PO and the buyer is already paying a a lot for shipping as it is. Should I chance it and send anyway? Should I just cancel the sale? I'm just so confused and frustrated...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you to all who slogged through this, have a cookie.

Ideally I'd like two toppers but definitely need 1. They can be the real one or a reproduction. Thank you!

The link didn't work but thank you:) Blossom's tag's texture is the same as your Moondancer's so at least I know she wasn't a fluke! Were the plushes ever a mail order? Maybe a store vs MO thing?

Mystery solved! Someone on Facebook let me know that the plushes sold in Canada had that type of tag instead of the Hasbro one.

Both are in good condition- not bright white but white, minor eye rubs. Mom's hair is a little dry on the ends but nice. Baby's hair is a bit wild but still has original curl. both have tush tags but not the loop on the back.

That's what I though initially but there's no sign of it at all.

Here's what her tag looks like:

Pony Corral / G1 plush question edit: mystery solved!
« on: February 19, 2021, 11:39:16 AM »
Today I noticed the my G1 Hasbro Softie Blossom does NOT have a Hasbro tag! What's really odd is that it looks like she never had one but she has this large care/materials tag. All the others have the regular Hasbro Softie tag. She looks just like the Blossoms on ebay but they all had the Hasbro tag too. Anyone else have any ideas?

Also Oakly DOES have ears! I didn't even realize until I was looking at pictures of him. They're behind the antlers.

Holy cow, he does!! Took me a while to find a pic that showed them. Thanks for the info!!

Has anyone mentioned Diva Starz yet? Made by Mattel back in 2000 and ended in 2004. They were interactive  they talked to you/each other and react to their clothing. I never really understood the appeal as you couldn't really play with them though I just found out (when trying to find the name) that they did make regular dolls of them.

edit: Ooh, ooh, Struts! Horses with high heels, 'nuff said lol. Made by Playmates around 2008.

Apparently I haven't done many yellow customs (blue, on the other hand...) but I did have a few. I can't remember the dates of any of these but i believe all of these were done 10+ years ago

Yellow Moondancer (full body paint and symbols, I'm so happy with those stars!)

This happened yesterday but I'm still salty about it. I had gone to the PO to mail some packages and was trying to write on the tracking number slips which was what (we're old school and don't have the nice printed out receipts that say that) but the pen didn't work. I politely asked for another. The post master kind of half rolled her eyes and VERY reluctantly gave me another pen. When I handed it back she took it between the tips of her fingers like it was a dead thing and then made a huge show of wiping off the pen and Purell-ing her hands. I understand taking precautions but to make such a huge deal about it was very annoying. She's normally a little rude to me anyway but now I'm only going to the PO on Saturdays as she doesn't work that day.

I live in Maine; we just got out first confirmed case the other day.
Things are I guess okay for now; Mom and I went grocery shopping yesterday and paper goods, cleaning supplies and hand sanitzer are wiped out but still food on the shelves but a lot of my friends (from all over the state) have reported low to empty shelves (pasta/rice etc). Schools are still in session as far as I know but most extracurricular/field trips etc have been cancelled. People are wearing masks and purelling the crap out of everything plus making good use of home delivery/pick up at store services.

I do worry as Maine a large elderly population (I think we're the "grayest" state) and really worry if it comes up here. I live on an island of about 350 people a good third of those are over 60 not to mention I think every other person has a compromised immune system due to a high rate of Lyme's Disease, cancers (my mom had breast cancer last year) or things like diabetes or asthma (I have the latter). If it makes to the island, we're pretty much screwed as everything spreads like wildfire here:( BUT where people are taking precautions I'm holding out hope!
