I got about 60+ gems since the update thanks to ads, daily bonus, heart balloon pop, Drama Pony, and parasprites. And this is WITHOUT time traveling.

how do you get gems from ads? i've done similar things with old apps but can't find an option other than buying the gems, i must be missing something somwhere. i've only been playing it a day and seen Pony 5 times but no gems

Hmm, well the button should be on the Buy Gems page. If it's not there then there aren't any ads to be watched for that day. It'll usually come back in a day or two. Sometimes I can get up to 10 gems in a day from ads.

I also noticed that every time you level you get 1 gem and every 10 levels you get 2 gems. Supposedly you can get gems from element shards but I've yet to get one. I also recommend setting aside a few empty land tiles for parasprites to pile up since they occasionally give a gem after clearing a cluster. It's so easy to get gems now!

Really? They've chenged that now! I'm level 47 , I could've had so many gems if they had did that from the beginning! Now it takes so long to level D:

my wife plays on the ipad and she also does not get the "Get Free Gems" option on the Buy Gems screen.

Heh, I'm on a Droid with no update and I'm not gaining gems that often. I guess I will have to wait it out!

I downloaded this game when I got my new phone recently and I do think it's cute but it's getting frustrating for me. I think sims just aren't my gaming style and I dislike the waiting and how everything is progressively requiring more and more bits, jewels, time...  and I won't spend $ on it. Nice to know about the getting gems from watching ads thing though. I got 10 today!

I just got this game, woo hoo!! Is my game lagging out, or is this an issue for anyone else? Whenever I try to play it with my FB buddies, I get an error code that says they're running a different version of the game! Uhhh, what? :/

I have the quest now to find and click on Ditsy Doo (or whatever she's called now...), but I've never seen her at all! Is there somewhere on the screen that she usually shows up, so I know better where to look? I don't know if I just keep missing her or if there's a problem.

She took a little while to show up when I was on that part. I don't remember if she was in a certain spot the first time but it seems more often the pops up around the edges of the light areas though I've also found her in the town and off in dark areas as well.
