Alpacasso??

I just stumbled upon this on ebay, are there any other cute llama or alpaca brand lines that make cute things like it? does anyone have any of these plushies, and are they good quality?

I have several. The legit Alpacasso by Amuse are very good quality. The rip offs I've seen are good quality too, but I really am against them...

I had the luck of getting one from a UFO catcher game. :3

I really want one but haven't yet bought any.  I'm mainly posting here to see what other people suggest.  I've seen a lot of alcapa plushies on taobao but I don't know which ones are what brand.

If they are on taobao, then they are most likely a rip off brand. The best way to figure it out is try to find a webpage that lists all the releases of actual Alpacasso, and see if the pictures match up...

I think all of the Alpacasso merch is designed to be for UFO catchers in Japan, which explains the higher price for them. (But I have snagged some second hand ones for cheap in lots from Japan).

The taobao ones don't all look as cute as some of the ones I've seen on ebay, but some are adorably close.

UFO catchers are crane machines. They are really popular in Japan... So basically they are prizes.

Oh, you have to be careful about ebay too. There are fakes on there too. Although it's not as bad as it used to be.

I can recommend you some sellers on storenvy for alpacasso. I've got four now. They are totally adorable. The quality is pretty good. Probably better then the crap we get from the crane machines. There's a new blue one out I want.

LOL, finally a thread about Japanese alpacasso!!! Absolutely love these guys.  I'm more into the practical uses of these doll like creatures.  I really wanna get me a pencil case of one of these guys.  *sigh* maybe next year...
