Styling Thermal Hair

Hey everyone! As many of you might know I'm working on another restore project (some of you might have seen the post over at the corral) but I was planning on rehairing the pony with Thermal Saran hair.

I've only worked with Saran once and didn't really try much for styling on the last pony, so I'm not sure on how styling will work for it and how hot water would affect the thermal hair... Any advice on this kind of hair and styling it?
