Way cool!!Me neither and I live here lol:)Its not its the Lion Rampet, the tradtional flag that sometimes flies over Endinburgh is yellow with the Lion on it.The Unicorn and Lion is what England have but as Scotland is part of the UK they use the Union Jack and Lion and Unicorn, but many still use the Saltire or the Lion Rampet. It gose way way back to the William Wallace daysSorry I honestly am not starting a fight...but it is the Unicorn....the coat of arms which has the lion and the unicorn represents the United Kingdom - the idea being Lion for England and Unicorn for Scotland [sorry NI and Wales!]. Yes, Scotland's coat of arms is the Lion Rampant..but out "national animal" is a unicorn...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbols_of_the_United_Kingdom,_the_Channel_Islands_and_the_Isle_of_ManPlus I like the idea of a mythical creature lol!
